2025.01.31 07:07 cereus_ MITTLED lights - can two sets connect to one driver?
Hi all, I’ve just ordered my kitchen from Ikea (yay!). But when I was there, the kitchen designer said something I’m not sure about. Along on side of the kitchen I’ve got two sets of MITTLED lights, on each side of the extractor hood. The total watts combined is 22.5 so I had assumed both sides could be plugged into one TRADFRI driver an that could be plugged in in the extractor hood cupboard. The ikea lady said that you have to have a break where there’s an extractor fan, and the second light (on the other side of the extractor) needs its own separate 10W power source. I didn’t understand why at all, as on YouTube I’ve seen it done the way I had planned.
Can anyone give me their experience with MITTLED? Thank you so much

I have been working with a naturopath and seen some mild improvements but overall it's still quite bad.

When I WAS tinder, I did get a lot of matches, but 90% of the messages, were just asking me if I was really 18 (cause I was 18 when this happened). Whenever I go into bars or clubs (legal drinking age in Australia is 18) before looking at my ID, I was told to leave, I would do what they say, but since meeting my bf (28m) he would grab my ID from my purse or pocket and show the bar tender or bouncer my ID and we would be allowed in. I hate looking like a child, but it also be that I do wear a lot of Sanrio merch as well, although I would be a good decoy in the Chris Hansen stings tho 😂

I 19F, am planning on quitting my part time job. I’m currently studying electrical engineering in university and compete in a sport as well, but kept my part time job to be able to have some income on the side to make it easier on my parents.
I’m definitely tired, but always kept showing up to work despite feeling absolutely terrible at times. Just last week I threw up during morning practice and was on two hours of sleep since I was up doing homework. Then I had an 8 hour shift afterwards. I asked to leave early but couldn’t because someone else called off.
Keep in mind, this one specific person had been calling off every weekend for over a month. They got into an accident a couple of months ago, but when she does show up to work she appears perfectly fine. Honestly, I can’t see what she’s dealing with in the back but I didn’t really complain about it until today.
I REsprained my ankle during practice. I got a third degree sprain last year so I’m prone to spraining it again, and I know the feeling of it. When I called to ask if I could call of they said no, I either need a doctors note by tomorrow (no later), or I need to come in. The last straw was when the manager said, “we’re low on ___ and so and so is PROBABLY going to call off, we need you here.”
I’m young, it’s my first job, please let me know if I’m overreacting, I could definitely learn things from all of you. I know I made a commitment to show up when I’m scheduled, but it’s starting to seem unfair. I don’t understand why someone else can continue to call off every weekend and throw the rest of us under the bus. My other coworker has been closing by herself every single time. Now, I’m injured and my ankle is the size of a tennis ball. I limp when I walk and even driving hurts. She hasn’t called off yet but the manager is telling me to come just in case she does.

My hppd is caused by weed and dxm only im pretty sure. Everyday for the past few days ive continued using weed and my hppd seems to be getting worse. When im sitting in class sometimes or just randomly throughout the day ill feel derealized for like 10mins, and then itll go away again. It makes my anxiety really bad and my breathing shallow and it really freaks me out. Like to the point where i might have a panic attack if it keeps building up Idk what to do It feels almost like episodes n Happens anywhere from 2-5 times a day or maybe even more, the derealization also makes things look different to my eyes like depth and stuff i dont wanna quit weed cuz im addicted n also dont wanna quit because i have super bad insomnia n my adhd makes me think alot before bed so to stop the thoughts i smoke

Hello, normally we have the option to delete a message for both sides. If someone blocks me, and I choose “delete for both me and ______” of a message, does it affect their chat history they have with me, even though I’m blocked? Or can I no longer affect our chat history once blocked?
An ex and I decided to go no contact and I feel vulnerable with the thought of him having those texts and voice messages forever. I had him block me because I wouldn’t have been able to resist reaching out to him. But I didn’t think about possibly wanting to delete some messages beforehand.
I tested it by choosing “delete for both I and ____” and it disappeared. But I don’t know if it truly affected his chat history.
