Hi all. For the past year, every now and then whilst walking, I will feel a pulse of pain into my 3/4th toe as the ball of my foot strikes the ground - it’s almost as if a nerve is getting pinched and ‘pulsing’ into my toe - no pain under the foot, just the toe sensation. The last time it happened, I put some cotton wool between toes 3 and 4 and it went away, hence my internet search sending me this direction.
More recently, after a lot of hill walking/running, I’ve now got considerable pain right on the ball of the foot, almost like bruising. Does this sound like Morton’s Neuroma? I’m going to rest and ice for a few days but wondering what the long term plan for these things is?

2025.01.31 07:05 lukeiamyourpapi Losing my mind with prototyping
I'm losing my mind trying to prototype a simple Google Maps style interaction, where the map is scrollable in both directions, and the bottom sheet is draggable. Somehow that seems impossible to do??
I've tried 2 main methods: 1. Separate full height and width bottom sheet variants so drag changes between them. Unfortunately, even though it is fixed and at the top, so the map under it is completely scrollable, so it doesn't read the drag at all. For some unexplainable reason, Figma doesn't treat the top layer as top, and allows everything under to scroll 2. I tried treating the bottom sheet as an overlay, but then everything else becomes unclickable, which also sucks.
Have been through community files and YT videos but either their content doesn't scroll in both directions or they use overlays, both of which don't solve my problem.
Has anyone worked around this before? (Attached video of method 1 where Im trying to drag the bottom sheet but it keeps scrolling the map)

 | Does a 12V battery to crank up the engine and car electronics for a hybrid car different than a normal car? I have a hybrid Toyota Estima/Tarago (2011 model) and it's battery has gone flat after left it parked for two months. Now super cheap auto guy told me that it needs a different battery that matches with hybrid batteries - sounds strange. When I pulled out the battery, it looks normal except that it has some cable and a kinda pipe attached on both ends - images attached. I am looking forward to join muj(CSE) in this year (currently in 12th) along with 2 of my friends( civil and EEE) I have few queries 1. Those in CSE is there good coding culture? (Obviously there are at least 3-4 in each batch that has interest in coding still asking)
- I have seen lots of vlogs of people showing their hostel room but still unable to find photos of 3 sharing room( is listed on website so guessing it is available). Are those rooms similar to 2 sharing rooms? And about AC is it centrally controlled vent system or personal AC for each room and can we use it whenever we want or any timing on it( what about light bill)
- What’s happened in last year that median placements jumped from 4 lakh(last 2 year) to 7-8 lakhs(source NIRF)
- Any good fast food place outside(or inside) campus? ig there is dominos in campus but other than that there is no other good fast food chain there. Can we get Zomato order in hostel or do we need to eat in mess?
- Connectivity: is ola uber readily available there?
- Can we keep bike or cycle?

Hey everyone! I've been looking for a game I played as a kid. I don't remember its name otherwise I wouldn't be writing this. Anyhow, here's what I remember: - It's a 3D third-person shooter CO-OP game. - The game features two main male characters in Japan running or looking for someone. Both are middle aged men. One with a bald top-head and long side hair wearing sunglasses and a white top tank, the other guy wore a basic outfit that I can't remember. - The cover has the two main protagonists one behind the other with its title which I can't seem to remember if it was fully or partially in Japanese. - The color scheme generally was cyan and rose. - The game had a lot of flashbacks!
(Maybe it had something to-do with Yakuza, I don't remember)

So I’ve been on maternity leave since October 2024. I don’t go back to work until March 3rd 2025. My LPO keeps harassing me about getting things done (Eval, brag sheet, midterm counseling, signing a new page 13 for liberty policy). He just keeps sending shit to my personal email and asking me to do it. I have told him multiple times now that I have my hands full at home (single mom with no support system), and that I’m on MATERNITY LEAVE. He said the SEL wants things done ASAP, and I said I would like to be reimbursed leave days then if I will be doing work during my leave. He didn’t have a response to that lol.
For context, my baby is obviously a BABY, and requires attention. When I do have “free time,” I’m quickly cooking, eating, or cleaning. Half the time, I’m doing those things while holding the baby. I don’t have time to sit on my laptop and complete paperwork, and then drive to work, again WITH MY BABY, to do midterm counselings or training.
I provided a date (Feb 10th) of when I’ll be able to come in and complete things. Mind you, the only reason I can is because I’ll be slowly transitioning my daughter to daycare (4 hours per day one week, then 6 and so on, until I return fully to work). He didn’t agree to this until I told my DH what was going on. She confronted him, and acted like he was fine with 10th. This was recently. And just today, he’s up my ass about eval stuff again, as if we didn’t already have a conversation about this. I’m so irritated. AITA? (Again, I don’t think I’m the asshole lol)

2025.01.31 07:05 Rise-West Not enough ammo for automatic riflemen
Automatic riflemen carry very little ammo. Only 4-5 magazines with 20 rounds each when using the bar or fg42. It just seems like they should carry a lot more. It makes it so difficult to use them effectively. I would love to see them get more ammo so more people would consider using the class.

Maybe I’m late to the party on this particular problem, but I bought this on GOG because I was feeling nostalgic. Now it’s a mess. Won’t even try to launch when I click it. First had it installed through galaxy, which was laggy and glitchy and not hardly working at all, it couldn’t launch the game worth a damn. So I uninstalled and installed it Manually. That just doesn’t do anything. Little blue circle by the cursor for a second, but that’s it. Google search shows that there’s clearly an issue with this game, but is there a fix? I haven’t found one yet. Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. ubisoft blocked my post…

 | First up was Nothing There. I planned to breach them with a regular newbie dying in the cell. Three red resistant tanked in front with everyone firing from the back. I kited all the attacks in the third phase. 3 people died because apparently the first phase’s attacks hit BEHIND ITSELF! Bs but a loss I accepted Second up: Mountain of Smiling Bodies. I used the “injured agent” to breach it and easily wiped it out. No casualties. Finally: Blue Star. (Last because I needed to wipe out every clerk which took ages) Breached with a prudence IV agent. Stuffed everyone into one elevator and spammed white shields while I had rabbits swarm Central Command Riding Hood also died in the crossfire (three abnos escaped so she breached lol). One last casualty because I forgot Child of the Galaxy’s Qlipoth. Sad. Real losses: one set of Alriune’s ego (damnit). And an entire set of the Queen of Hatred’s ego (GOD DAMNIT).
