I traded my beautiful new car in for a second hand car as I needed some money for my dogs surgery.
The salesman told me lie after lie that my car wasn’t worth what it was. He told me if the second hand car broke down I’d get a replacement as they don’t bother fixing it.
Alas, 3 weeks later the car is broken. When I took it back he denied saying this sales pitch to me and told me “he was leaving” and walked away leaving me to cry in the office.
The mechanic didn’t have a clue what was wrong with the car and had to send it back to the cars original dealership. It has now been 1 week since they took it. No one has called me to let me know. I’ve rung to ask and no one knows.
They gave me a really low quality, old loan car that is filthy inside and the aircon barely works, meanwhile it’s 42 degrees outside.
I’d like to know where I stand with this.
I understand WA consumer protection indicates that dealerships must replace the car if there is a major fault. Surely the fact that their mechanic of 40 years didn’t know what the problem was would indicate it is a major fault?
It also advises that it must be repaired within reasonable time. What would be classed as reasonable time? I’ve had the stupid car 4 weeks and 1 of those it has been in the garage.
I’m utterly devastated. My lovely new car has now gone up for sale at the price the salesman told me it wasn’t worth and I just want to give them their measly money back and take my old car home.
The ugliness of the salesman. I know lying is their job, however the blatant disregard when I called him out. The receptionist asked why I was crying and when I told her she rolled her eyes and said he is always rude to her too.
Anyway, my feelings aside. Would anyone know what are my legal rights if any? I’m in WA.

So i’m in my second semester of grad school and was checking my gpa from last semester only to see i have a 3.93 GPA. However, in my first semester I got straight A’s. I originally thought maybe grad school cumulates your GPA with your undergrad GPA, but I googled it and it said that’s not the case. Does anyone know why straight A’s wouldn’t equate to a 4.0?

I was talking with some people online in a group, and I said a joke that was seen as insensitive, but I didn't apologize for it.
For context, a woman was saying that if she could afford it, she would be a housewife and as a comment, i said we should abolish feminism and go to the "good old times", since, ya know, housewives and such. People found it funny and even leaned into the joke but three women (ages 18-20) didn't, and attacked me for saying that. I simply corrected the message to say that I'm kidding and they just ridiculed it even further saying stuff like "jokes are meant to be funny" or "lmao she tried to edit the message when she noticed we don't like the 'joke'".
I let it go and moved on, I talked with a couple people for an hour when these three brought up the issue again, telling people I'm sexist and explaining how not okay the joke was (despite the fact, other people would also make female-targetted jokes, like saying women aren't funny, and these specific women would also make male sexist jokes), making fun of my attempt to show I wasn't being serious and painting me as an asshole.
I got pissed off that I specifically was being slandered in front of people who weren't even a part of the conversation and that I specifically was being picked on for saying something like that and left.
One guy was telling me I should have just apologized, which I didn't even think or realize was an option, because, as I said, my attempts to correct myself were ridiculed. But I don't feel like it's fair that I specifically was being insulted for saying a joke that others found funny and others commented on, and that I specifically had some women openly dislike me and slander me. And while I understand that they were hurt by my joke, they could have simply informed me normally than to make fun of me for trying to express it wasn't meant seriously and then accuse only me of being sexist. Like, that action showed me they were not open for apologies, and I don't wanna let someone online bully me into submission.
I wonder what y'all think.

I currently have a V5 WRX that I’m using as a family car on the weekends. Unfortunately as the kids get bigger it’s just getting a bit tight.
I’m wondering if a V7 WRX has more rear passenger space?
I also have a V11 which has plenty of rear passenger space but I’m wanting to sell it as I just don’t find it fun to drive compared to the older Subarus. I think it’s the drive by wire compared to the cable throttle. However it’s more practical as a family car.
If the V7 is comparable to a V11 in space I was thinking I’d try and swap the V5 wrx for a V7.

Hey! So I has a weird expirence yesterday while playing endless. So I have deaf mode on and my screen turns red. No lights flickered nor was there any indication other than that. I got in a locker quickly seeing the red. I thought it was pandemonium but whatever creature it was just zoomed past like a regular angler. I got out of the locker and whatever it was, didn't turn off any lights and was gone. My boyfriend who was watching me, said it looked similar to the regular angler and pinky. But it had its eyes clawed out? I've been looking for a while and I haven't found anything similar. Anyone ever expiernece anything like that in endless??

2025.01.31 06:48 74937 How can one improve chances of ovulating and the egg quality?
Hello everyone
I (32 f) was given the diagnose of unexplained infertility. They said that i do not ovulate monthly. When we did an egg retrieval they managed to get 15 eggs but only 2 got fertilized and only one of them made it to day 2. They didnt give me any explanation or clue as to why those results are so poor. They said that they found a cyste but refused to operate it away because they judge it as to not clearly big enough to cause trouble, it is kind of exactly on the limit.
Does anybody here have similar experiences? Do you maybe have tipps or recommendations as to what has helped?
The only thing i personally can think of is that i have had massive stress for more than a decade on a daily basis, but the doctor she doesnt think it has anything to do with it.

Hello,
I am trying to find a really old flash game that I used to play between 2006-2010. I was 7-10 years old back then, so I don't really remember everything.
It's a 2D adventure game where you kill all the monsters by jumping on their heads (like mario). It has multiple stages and when you finish one stage there is a door appear on the map to proceed to next level. I also recall there are two bosses in the game. The mid-game boss looks like a green elephant that running across the map. The 2nd boss (final level) is a big spider that can shoot from below and you have to dodge the bullet. The spider is very tall so you have to jump on a trampoline to reach his head.
You control a character that also looks like a monster. I also remember, in the dialogue, the protagonist is having a conversation with someone that is taller than him (I assume it was his dad) but you won't see that person in the gameplay.
The time to finish the game is approximately 10-15 minutes and (I didn't have any hands when I was a kid lol) so I think it is a short game.
Any help would be appreciated.
