2025.01.31 06:38 Party-Kick-3551 Aeroccino milk not frothing.
So I have had two aeroccino mill others now. Each have had the same issue. The One I have now was a replacement that Nespresso sent me because the other was not frothing. It worked for about a week until it didn't...
I found a post here a while ago that suggested resetting the thermostat with ice water. This did actually work for me once. But within a few days, it was not frothing again. And this solution has not worked subsequent times.
The machine is clean, I do not use detergent and only use cold water and a scrubby sponge to clean it. There is no buildup of milk product.
I have another aeroccino at work. Right use exactly the same milk and clean it in the same way and have no issues. So I'm starting to wonder if it's an issue with my location. My apartment is quite warm all year round and wondering if the constant warm ambient temperature is interfering with a thermostat. Or, I live on the seventh floor. Is it an altitude issue?
Wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue and has any suggestions? I'm losing my mind here!

I feel like it was a rip off. We were promised potential forgiveness, but instead my loans were shifted from three corrupt companies. One shut down from their corruption, and my current MOHELA isn't even allowed to handle the loans themselves because of their own corruption.
Got the email about forgiveness, that never went anywhere because of the judges blocking it.
We were promised without forgiveness, it would be manageable with lower payments because of SAVE but that's gonna be gone soon.
We were promised PSLF is gonna be fixed and processed correctly but that's gonna be basically useless again.
I feel like this is just gonna end up with me having absurdly high payments again whenever Trump decides with no way out, and I've worked so hard on my credit to not fall through the cracks again this time
It just sucks, I feel like I would have been better off just not even bothering and leaving it defaulted

I took my exam on Thursday but still haven’t gotten an email from Washington BON I went to check the status on their provider credential search and it says credential status “active” does this mean I passed?
Last time I took the exam they sent an email of my CPR the next day within 24 hours after my exam. This time they didn’t so I’m very confused and it’s also stressing me out.

I want to start off by voicing my appreciation for everyone on this subreddit. You've all helped me be as much at ease as I can be throughout my fathers journey getting on and being on hospice. I can't thank you enough.
My father was diagnosed with a severe bone infection a little over two weeks ago in his foot. They gave him IV antibiotics for home to fend it off, and within the past week they've started to not work as well. He got on hospice a week ago, and he did have quite a bit of antibiotic left so we finished the remainder of it.
Yesterday was his last dose, so today he went without a dose. I had a hunch that it would happen fast since the last time he got sepsis it became borderline deadly within 5-6 hours or so. It has coincidentally been about that long (he's not in as bad of a state as he was then) since when he was supposed to have a dose and his temperature has risen from it's usual 96-97 to 99.8, and his foot has become swollen and very warm. He also bled a lot from the foot which has not happened in a long time (no circulation, the wound has been pretty dry/clear of blood) but he was also on his feet a lot today.
I called the nurse and filled her in, she recommended that if he's in pain (he is) to start giving him morphine, half of a half of a dose since it's his first time. Same with the haldol. I dosed him that much about an hour or so ago and he says he feels just a little better. He's still able to slowly walk with a walker to the bathroom and back which isn't too far. He's going to be going to sleep soon. His temp went down to 97.6.
I know they say if changes happen within hours you have hours. They've been happening relatively similar to hours. It's 1:30AM right now, do you think he may pass within the night? Hospice said if he declines more to call and they'd send a nurse out, but he's not even aware he's dying and I don't want to scare him. He's coherent and just watching Tv about to go to sleep.
Unrelated but he's also type 1 diabetic and has been eating ice cream and candy like a fiend tonight. Because what am I gonna do, tell him no? Is it possible he might fall asleep from high blood sugar or something might happen from that? I realized how much he's consumed just within the last few hours and I'm a bit concerned. I just want him to go peacefully when he does pass. I'm also alone in the home with him, home hospice. Is there any other advice anyone could give?

After how many months of this absolute rollercoaster I’m mentally resigning. Colleges really do know how to market and sell you a dream that will never be yours and was never meant to be yours in the first place. After back to back rejections and deferrals, i’m completely done with the whole I need to go to a top school mentality. I’ve become too emotionally invested to schools just to get met with rejections and now none of the schools I applied to appeal to me anymore, I can’t see myself anywhere so I think I’ll just attend my state school and see what happens from there. I won a full tuition scholarship to my state school and I wouldn’t mind being close to home, I’m not gonna commit or anything but I’m just at that stage mentally
