I approached a girl at a social gathering and she immediately let me know she wasn't interested in talking to somebody like me.
Later that night that girl expresses how she's "only going to date tall men, because she knows how strong they are. She knows they can take care of themselves, they can protect her, pick her up, and they're always confident."
Other times, I been around girls and caught them checking some tall guy. They're reaction was, "don't be like that and don't get jealous. You don't see how strong he is, look at him, you can't tell." I didn't see it.
Lastly, I had girls criticize me for working out and being fit. I've heard, "you think somebody's gonna wanna date you just cause you workout?" And "your probably not as strong as you think you are." And "i can tell you workout but your still not my type."
They think we're weak because we're short and we're compensating by working out

Okay so I (f21) love going to clubs just for the dancing. I mostly don't care about guys approaching me but just out of reflex (because I'm in a vulnerable position not knowing what their intentions are, being drunk myself e.g.) I always end up rejecting them. It's not because of the guys themselves. It's just the safest way for me. On the other hand I'd love to approach a guy that I've seen at my favorite club a couple of times.
How do I do it? What are questions you'd like to be asked in a club setting? How do I not scare a guy away (the same way I'd be scared away by a guy)?
Not a joke I'm seriously struggling with this. I'm an introvert but usually a conversation with a stranger is no big problem. Just something about being in a club makes things harder for me.
