For the sake of an example, say that I have a 10-mile long run with 6 miles at race pace. Which approach is better in general?
Approach A: 2 easy - 2 race - 2 easy - 2 race - 2 easy
Approach B: 2 easy - 6 race - 2 easy
I believe that the approach B is more beneficial because it really trains your body and mind to handle long sustained efforts but the toll on the body is higher. However, I read some plans doing Approach A.

both of my past two relationships ended after 4 months but with both of my exes, it was very serious in a lot of ways. both moved onto someone new immediately after they broke up with me despite them both giving me the cliche āitās not you itās meā speech and claiming that they want to focus on themselves.
first ex: was the one who introduced me to their parents and friends first, asked to be in a relationship, brought me to family events, got me gifts, took me on a 4 day camping trip, said iām the most beautiful person theyāve ever seen..but they would also only text me at night and never wanted to facetime (we were long distance for a little bit), would mostly only spend time with me if his friends or family was around, would barely want to be sexual with me..
4 months after the break up he is in a relationship with a guy (iām a woman btw) and it completely shattered me because he said he broke up with me because he needed to focus on his mental health.
second ex: bought concert tickets for us 2 months in advance, always paid for my food, would pick me up from my house without me even asking so i didnāt have to drive, said he could see me meeting his family, told his parents about me, introduced me to his friends after 2 weeks of knowing each other, would see each other almost every day for four months, did matching halloween costumes, but also would have sex every time we hung out, didnāt want to be exclusive(not bf/gf just exclusive) with me after 3 months of dating, said i was clingy for asking to be exclusive repeatedly, ended things over the phone.
he moved on after a couple of months too and was in a relationship for 6 months despite telling me that he was ending things because he wanted his freedom and didnāt want to be tied down..
and here i am, single and a mess and i still think about them all the time while theyāve moved on already. i am still recovering from being blindsided and im still confused because it seems like they lied about how they were really feeling and why they broke up with me. it hurts and my last ex ended things over a year ago and the other ex over two years ago.

Iāve lost 3 people this past year and recently have gone through a break up. Itās getting so lonely. I was doing so well, but tonight is especially hard. Iām coming to the anniversary of a death and I donāt know how to handle it. The deaths in my family have been women, middle aged and old. But my aunt was the first to pass. She was only 46. Over worked, super mom. My mum suffers from the same issues and has been experiencing similar symptoms. Iām scared of losing all the women in my family at this point due to health reasons too young. I try to help out and relieve her of some of the stress, but thereās only so much I can do right now. Iām scared of others eventually losing me to health reasons too young. I also lost an aunt 5 years ago. Most of the deaths were sudden. Itās scary. Iām starting to really struggle with everything again. I feel like Iām running out of time with my family and myself and the people around me. I feel so lonely and on top of that my best friend is gone (my ex) of 5 years after I broke up with him. In a crazy way it feels like Iām grieving him even though heās not dead. I just feel so broken and messy. Iāve always been someone who had her shit together and dealt with my issues and was fine and took care of everyone. I wish I could just go back to that. I wish I didnāt feel so shitty all the time. Iām exhausted. Definitely need therapy but donāt know where to go and just needed to scream into the void. I just have to keep moving or else I wonāt get back up.

I'm thinking of starting a SIPP in addition to my employer's DB pension. Probably unfounded but my main concern is that I do not want to have to start doing a tax return. I understand if your tax affairs are simple, a letter claiming the relief will suffice.
I've found a few examples online but none seem quite right. I'm not sure if I need to do the relief calculation or they work it out. I'm hoping I can ask for a cash/cheque/bacs from them, not sure how it works or if that's the best way to go? I'm assuming I'd need to wait until the end of the tax year to make the claim. If I claimed say Ā£1000 relief for 24/25, could I then pay that Ā£1000 into my 25/26 contribution and claim relief or is that recycling?
