my company is moving to putting all cc tips on a paycheck. we keep our (if any) cash tips every night. we claim 100% of our cc tips. they want us to tip out bar, busser and host. it won’t come out of the pay check. so, if you have no cash at the end of the night, how would you tip out? and if you have no cash and have to claim 100% of your credit card tips, you are claiming more than you’re walking with. so your total tips are all in credit cards and say it’s $400. so you claim $400. but walk with $300 after tip out. this is legal?

Currently I’m 27. First time back in school going for an economics bachelors degree after 4 years of graduating CC. I am feeling like I should withdraw and go to school online, and find an online program that will give me a bachelors degree. I work 5am-2pm full time and go to school in the evenings at a local university attempting the economics major. I keep asking everyone in my family or friends for advice and some say to not give up and some say it doesn’t matter I need unbiased advice. I really want a degree, most jobs require it. But will an online school not look good? I think I am also feeling some type of imposter syndrome. Everyone is so young compared to me and they speak so professionally and I feel like I really messed up waiting 4 years to go back to school. I feel like I’m not smart enough compared to everyone else.
I guess I’m asking Should I withdraw and just find an online university and get a BA there? Or should I just try really hard and continue doing what I’m doing even though I am nervous I may fail a class.

I met him by accident while wearing the chain he had gifted me for Valentine’s Day. We talked, hugged, cried together, kissed on the cheeks, danced in the parking lot, and pressed our foreheads together. As we were leaving, he said, “You broke up with me multiple times.” I told him that I couldn’t stay with him and needed to get out of that space. Then, I just stood there frozen as he left.
To be honest, all I feel for him now is hatred. Before the breakup, we went on a date and spent the entire time staring at another girl and talking about her. When I asked him to change the topic, he didn’t. That night, I was crying on the floor while he sat on the bed, watching Reddit. The next day, he broke up with me. But just a few minutes later, he came back, saying he couldn’t live without me.
The following day, he asked me to move back to my place. After that, he started ignoring me, and sensing the emotional distance, I broke up with him. This wasn’t the first time I had broken up with him before for similar reasons. One of the biggest red flags was that it took him 2–3 months to tell his best friend about our relationship, 6 months to introduce me or making me meet them making me feel like a secret, like a mistress. As, he would lie where he was going and whom he was spending time with.
Once, he even left me in the leasing office and forgot to pick me up. I spent the entire night there, shivering, in an unsafe neighborhood. He once said that foreplay wasn’t necessary for sex. I used to cry almost every day because he was never emotionally present.
But last night, he was everything I had always wanted him to be soft, caring, calling me beautiful. Especially after the breakup, when his words and actions had made me feel ugly. I don’t know why, but yesterday, I felt like I finally moved on. Now, all I feel towards him is disgust and hatred.

 | 2018 540i m sport xdrive. So my brothers car at the dealership for an oil change and to get an inspection since felt vibration when braking. Rear brakes r new and front pads are still at 7mm, with rotors being replaced as well when the pads were put on, and those aren’t warped as well. During the inspection they noticed uneven wear on the tires and all rims r bent somehow so not balanced at all, will need to either fix or replace rims I guess. They recommended to replace front rotors and pads though? Isn’t this something where I should first either fix wheels or get new ones, balance and align, see if issue still there before looking into whether control arms, bushings or front rotors and pads are the issue? But they also said to replace the rear flex disc due to the cracks but to my knowledge this much is completely normal? I thought bmw doesn’t even replace these under warranty if it doesn’t have the fibrous material sticking out or smth, is this something I need to replace asap? Also they are quoting $1450 for this which seems absurd to me unless I’m wrong. Their inspection sheet also shows brake fluid and coolant level and conditions being good but they r saying on the invoice to get those flushed and replaced too, and also getting a transfer case service and reafront differential flush to be done, while also checking their condition as good in the inspection sheet. This is the first thing they mentioned that seems like okay for maintence or smth worth doing but i don’t even know at this point. And also a “fuel service special” added, honestly don’t even know what that means. isn’t the b58 direct injected so only thing there is to be done is walnut blasting not any fuel additives whenever that is needed, which from googling seems like for b58s shouldn’t be needed yet at 80k miles. It is stage 2 tunes with a high flow catted downpipe if that changes anything. After a failed attempt at growing pan cyan which I suspect was caused by a lack of FAE, I decided that I wanted to try adding a fan to my grow. I was however worried that that would cause my sub to dry out, and I also wanted to avoid having to worry about misting all the time, especially if I had to leave the house for a couple of days. I decided to build an automated fruiting chamber, and I am really excited to try it out on my next batch of pans which is almost ready to be sent to bulk!
I know that all of this is probably way overkill, so let me emphasize that I am mostly doing this to have fun, not because I think it is the only way to get success. Furthermore, I have added lots of options for controlling environment, not because I want to automate everything from the get go, but because I want lots of knobs and dials so I can experiment and observe the outcomes. In the beginning the tub will be running with everything set to constant values without any automated regulation at all.
The chamber is made of a 75L waterproof tote. For FAE I use a 5v fan with adjustable speed via PWM (Noctua NF-A8). Inspired by the now defunct Mella fruiting chamber, I wanted to try an evaporative humidifier since it seems to have a lot of advantages over an ultrasonic humidifier: (1) it is self-regulating and doesn't put out more humidity in the form of aerosolized water when the RH approaches 100%, (2) it doesn't spread all the minerals and microorganisms that are dissolved in the water around the chamber. The humidifier is made of another 5v fan which sits on top of three cellulose sponges which are submerged in a shallow dish of distilled water. The water level is kept constant using a supply bottle with a couple of holes drilled at the level I want to maintain. I wasn't sure if it would be able to keep the humidity up on its own, so I have also added an aquarium heater to speed up the evaporation if needed and a small ultrasonic wick humidifier as a backup. There is also a heating pad for heating the substrate and four 12v 6500K LEDs in the lid.
After a short test run I was surprised to see that my evaporative humidifier seemed to instantly cause condensation to form on the sides of the tote and the sensor to rise to over 90% RH in just a few minutes, and maintaining it even with the FAE fan on half speed. I am excited to test how well it works in practice, but I suspect I won't need neither the ultrasonic humidifier nor the aquarium heater to be turned on to maintain RH levels even with continuous FAE.
On the side of the tote I have inserted an SCD41 sensor for measuring humidity, temperature and CO2 levels. The sensor is inserted into a rubber grommet in which I have cut a hole. I did this to protect the PCB from moisture, and because the sensor is very sensitive and would (according to the datasheet) be damaged if using standard coatings like silicone or acrylic paint. I do not expect the sensor to last forever since it also sits in a small enclosed space with lots of off-gassing plastics. I also don't care if it is well-calibrated since I just want to know if the CO2 level relative to my baseline gets high since it is an indication that I need to increase FAE.
Everything is controlled by a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W which allows me control the fans and two MOSFETs toggling the LEDs and ultrasonic humidifier, respectively. As I haven't built any automated regulation I just control these from the terminal over SSH (the Zero 2 W conveniently has Wi-Fi).
This was a really fun project to build, and at the very least I picked up some useful soldering and crimping skills along the way, so I already consider it a success. I also hope that it will actually help me grow some nice canopies :).
