I've seen this come up in many threads lately with different games like COD, Valorant, League, etc and many YouTubers ranting about it in the past.
I disagree with the idea that a microtransaction for any amount of money could be considered unfair or greedy if the item has a clear price and you get what you pay for.
If there is 500$ skin in a video game, I'm not going to buy it. Is it unfair? No, it clearly states a price and you can see what costs that much. Is it worth it for me? Also no, but there are many things in the world that cost a lot of money and I either don't have the wallet for it or I don't think it's worth it for me.
I'm not going around calling Ferraris, luxury clothes or expensive watches as unfair or greedy, so I'm not gonna call these either.
Skins are optional, cosmetic items in a game, they don't change how the game is played in any way. It doesn't affect anyone's gameplay if they have / don't have it.
Loot boxes are a different category. Those are a problem because you spend a small amount of cash for a small chance of getting something good, which is essentially gambling and I feel is a lot worse than expensive skins outright.

Everytime I try to quit adderall after 2 yrs of dependence and on/off abuse, I always end up relapsing bc of this feeling. I honestly don’t experience much withdrawal symptoms whenever I quit cold turkey (granted it only ever lasts a week), but I have these constant thoughts in the back of my head: “this could be so much more fun on adderall”, “u would do this so much better on adderall”, etc. These thoughts seriously make me feel like nothing will ever be enough. I feel like it’s impossible to feel satisfied and that drives me crazy. It scares me bc I worry that I’ll always feel this way if I quit for good.
Everytime I quit, my brain just searches for another vice but I don’t like one as much as adderall. The only thing pushing me to quit right now is the physical side effects. I don’t want to quit, but I feel like I have to. I know being sober will always be better, but it’s so hard to actually believe that. I want to be healthier and I want to stop feeling shackled to a medication but I still don’t want to quit.
I have made a billion excuses to justify still taking this shit even tho it has negatively affected me soooo much more than it has benefitted me. I have lied countless times to the ppl closest to me despite how much I hate lying. I have put my body under so much distress for no reason. Even considering all this, it’s still so hard to fully let go.
One of the hardest thoughts to cope with is that I’ll never reach my full potential without this drug. I know this isn’t true , but again, it’s so hard to actually believe otherwise. Anyways, I’m just frustrated and feel defeated so any advice to cope with these thoughts and feelings would be very appreciated.

What's up with victim players sending unwarranted messages?
Just had one tell me I had 0 skill because it was supposedly 2v1??? The truth is it was actually 2v4, (me as johnny and someone else as sissy, the cook dc'd at the start of the game) and we killed 2 people.... Including that person who decided to message me... I didn't even say anything to them at end lobby, didn't do anything in game. Just because I killed him lol (it was a danny, he did fusebox and I literally walked into him, so yeah I'm gonna kill you pretty quick out in the open as Johnny.) He thinks we jumped him or something.
I've had this happen so many times, a victim player will message me ... either cause they died, or they all got out. I've never had a family player do this (i play both sides alot), so people who do that, what's up??? Why can't ya'll just move on like everyone else. It's embarrassing.
Next time I'll just let ya'll go on a leisurely walk right in front of me, or start crying on comms in the end lobby.
(Let me know if you experience this, and maybe it is from family players, but I've literally only experienced this with victim mains.)

Does anyone else get a severe nervy pain in the back of their neck/ back side of their body for either a brief moment or a few minutes when receiving IV morphine or Dilaudid?
It happens every time and to me I feel like it's some sort of allergic reaction, but my throat does not close and once this pain essentially resolves the medication kicks in and relieves the original pain that I have been given it for.
My mom says she goes through the same thing and I'm just curious if it has happened to anyone else.

Hello, I've recently been looking for a new vehicle to drive to work in harsh Canadian winters. It's cold up here, so 4x4 or AWD are a must, I have a short commute to work only 15-20 minutes, but we often get 10+ inches of snow and my last car (Dodge Dart) was God awful in the winter. I also need to do lots of night time driving so visibility is necessary.
By far, the vehicle I'd like to purchase the most are either a Honda CRV or a Toyota RAV4, but they are unfortunately, out of my price range. I also like the Mazda CX5 but it's also just a tad too expensive.
I'm looking for either a new vehicle or a slightly used vehicle (2022+). Fully loaded is a must for my wife so it tends to be more expensive, good safety features for the kid is also a must.
I'm looking to keep this car for 10+ years with minimal upkeep like my last car.
The vehicles I've been looking at currently are
- Volkswagen Tiguan (Can get a good one for a fair price in my city, but don't know too much about them also Taos but seems so small)
- Subaru Crosstrek (I love the ground clearance and id like to believe Subaru is reliable, I also like the Forester but it's harder to find)
- Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (I don't specifically like them, but the 10 year 160k warranty is very convincing and I haven't heard too many bad things about them)
- Mazda CX3 (It's probably reliable and a nice car but the size concerns me, is it much smaller than the other options? I'm a big guy)
- Toyota Corolla Cross (Don't know too much about them, but same as the CX3, the size concerns me)
- Dodge Hornet (It just looks so nice in my opinion and I don't know too much about them, they're pretty new so I'm not sure about reliability)

PS - I won't even consider Hyundai or Kia, had nothing but issues in the past, left a bad taste.
