I’m playing around with different ideas and themes for commander decks, and I’m curious as to what options exist in a middle ground of Voltron and a Tokens style deck. Instead of going all in on one creature, or making a huge army, what viable options for having 3-5 creatures and buffing them up together or one at a time. I was kinda thinking Red Black and White, or some kinda combination of those would be best for this, but maybe I’m missing something good from green and blue.

2025.01.31 08:49 DoubleRNL Curious (not judging): who actually plays old (25+ year or older) games and why?
Obviously I understand the nostalgia aspect or people being curious about certain games they never got to play..
But every time I tried playing those games myself I just had the feeling of: why don’t I use my precious gaming time to play newenew games? There are so many games in the 10+ years or newer range that I haven’t played, why shouldn’t I play that instead and have a (slightly more) modern experience? Why play N64 games when I have so many Switch games I still need to play (for example)
Again this is outside of nostalgia because I totally get playing games from your childhood again :) and don’t want to judge anyone, just very curious, examples are allowed in your answer!

So, I’m trying to justify my poor choice of Master’s by getting better at my Japanese and even making a career out of it. Problem is; an unstable life makes things much harder for that. Just got my JLPT N2 results back, and I bombed. I’ll probably just have to try again this year but something else could also be used to bulk up my skills. In some interviews with Big Japanese Game Developer (TM), it seems they use some kind of internal software to quick translate internal messages, documents, etc. and then have their guys mostly proofread them. Does anybody know of any sort of database software used for translation that essentially contains an internal dictionary they can use (ie. contains industry specific jargon and terms) and if so, what would be the best (preferably free) way to go about learning them? Also, any advice for trying to study and improve when life has very limited stability would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. 🙏

At what point do we decide that mesalazine isn't working? I'm about 4 weeks in and my symptoms have improved. Semi normal stools just with the occasional mucus and blood. Urgency completely gone, pain almost gone the occasional twang, no more diarrhoea, no more just passing blood. But I keep having 1-2 days almost completely fine and then pain and some blood, and then another 1-3 maybe 4 days. Last time I took the enema and pill combo it took a couple of weeks to get me back up to remission like living. Is this a sign that it's not working for me any more or do I need to be patient?
