Hey all! I found my Dad's old iPhone 4s. It needs a battery replacement, but the software is acting up. I can't turn on the Wi-Fi, but my main concern is preserving iOS 7.1. I want to wipe the device so I can eventually turn it into an iPod of sorts. Let me know if I need to provide any more details. Thanks in advance!

2025.02.01 19:40 binglebangle7 I have very little faith in Elden Ring: Nightreign
I've played all of From Software's soulslikes and I generally enjoyed all of them, but I just cannot find it in myself to care about Nightreign.
From Software is straight up one of the worst studios in the entire industry at making multiplayer games and now Nightreign is going to be entirely focused around it. There's no question in my mind that it will have an awful netcode, which will massively detract from the experience.
I also have no interest in a "From Software's Greatest Hits Collection" type of game. They excel at worldbuilding and atmosphere, but I feel like that's going to be hard to do well when they're hamfisting in bosses, and no doubt other elements, from previous titles.
On top of all of that, a roguelike doesn't really seem to be something that would work well with From Software's formula. I feel like they won't be able to match genre titans like Slay the Spire, The Binding of Isaac, and Balatro.
Anyone else feel the same? Part of this is probably influenced by the fact that I'm sort of just getting sick of From Software's formula.

Veiled Haven just started "Season 1" as of January 11th and is currently gearing up for the dragon fight which is set for the 22nd of February!
We are a relatively small server similar to Hermitfraft. Veiled Haven is dedicated to giving players a semi-vanilla experience with the addition of simple modifications to make your time on the server more enjoyable.

Modifications
In Veiled Haven, we've kept the addition of modifications to a minimum, just enough to enhance the vanilla experience without compromising the core gameplay of Minecraft. This ensures a balanced and consistent experience for all members of our Haven.
Some of the modifications we have added include; Armor Statues, Player & Mob heads, Simple Voice Chat, Discord-MC Chat, and more which are all listed in the info channel of the Veiled Haven Discord server.
Events & Economy
The staff and general community are working on multiple weekly, monthly, and special events for everyone to participate in with enticing prizes such as custom models made by our "Blocksmiths"! Examples of past events we had in Season 0 are the dragon fight, a spawn and nether hub building competition, and more.
We plan on setting up a dynamic economy where diamonds will be the core currency. Players will have the opportunity to buy, sell, and trade valuable resources, with a central shopping district. Additionally, we'll be introducing a "Permit" system similar to the one seen in Hermitcraft where you can buy permits to claim areas for your shop. Keep in mind the server has no land claim mod.
Rules
We believe in maintaining a mature and respectful atmosphere, which is why our server has an age restriction of 16+ and is a whitelisted SMP. We're committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone feels safe, respected, and engaged.
With that being said it should be obvious that any exploits, theft, griefing, stealing, player abuse, and any other infraction upon our SMP rules are strictly prohibited. Veiled Haven is a safe area and therefore anyone who goes against these simple rules will be removed from our Haven.
