2025.02.01 19:41 HDi_ Fenix 7X time inacurracy
My gear:
Fenix 7X Shappire solar, bought it when it became available in the beginning of 2022 iPhone 13 pro, with shortcut enabled to trigger app once a day to do a sync, but from time to time I also open an app manually. Simple TDB watchface Since the summer mostly doing gym workouts so GPS needded workouts are rarelly used.
Recently I needed to work on a project where time accuracy matters, and saw that my fenix is lagging like 30 secs, from what NTP providers are giving.
Checked settings, it is set to sync with phone, however the phone is showing accurate time in sync with what NTP is giving, however even after successful manual sync, the watch is still innacurate. If I manually sync with GPS or do a workout with GPS I am able to get watch to be perfectly sync with NTP providers, BUT:
It is lossing 1-3secs per week… .
Any ideas why it is not syncinc with phone? (I am openining an app from time to time) Any ideas why it is lossing accuracy so fast? Could it be somehow related to watchface or installed apps?

2025.02.01 19:41 Educational-Let-1027 My INTP guy friend started getting watery eyed when I told him that I still get bullied for my speech impediment
Idk for certain because he’s definitely rough around the edges. A nice person, but has a very snarky personality. So anyway, we’re talking about how personal our essays are for grad school application. Another friend asked if our stories can make someone cry. I nod yes, and she inquires.
I tell my guy friend (and her) that I struggled with a speech impediment while younger. And to this day, some of my close relatives still make fun of me. His eyes turned slightly red and watery, but it almost immediately went away. Honestly, it was a blink and you’ll miss it type moment.
He also had a speech impediment, but idk how much it affected him emotionally. I wonder if maybe he felt like he could relate? Or if he just has that much empathy for me in general? That being said, he told me to not make it so emotional. Not in a mean way, just a matter of fact way.

2025.02.01 19:41 Entire-Match-2671 If I forget to mask/wall off emotion for even a few minutes with anyone, I always regret it.
That wasn't the case with my wife until the last few months of her life. Then she needed me to be less emotional, so I ramped up the various drugs that help me blunt emotion and boost some of the things I'm already good at. I was and am thankful that I know how to push past my normal limits -- I was sole caregiver and her not having to see or deal with anyone else was one of the only gifts I could give her and the other people who love her so deeply still.
The grief has been difficult to navigate, but I'm managing. I have a simple life in many ways, and friends & family who love and look out for me in their own ways.
I miss feeling like I could be myself and be loved. It was an incredible feeling. I don't think I will have it again. That makes me sad. I'm sure I'll accomplish more in some ways. People really seem to like being around a superhero type. I will try to do many of the things my wife and I did and planned to do. I'm sure that some of that will be rewarding and I'm lucky to even have the opportunity to try. I don't even remember why I started with this.

Has anyone come up with some cool projects, with the old motors, boards, etc?
Don't want to toss them, but looking for something creative and fun. Maybe some sort of multi axis robot?
