We've just reviewed an emergency case at casualty. The lady is a victim of domestic violence, and the trauma was inflicted on her by her soon-to-be husband. She is also expectant. A pelvic ultrasound has been done, and visible fluid pockets can be seen outside the uterus. She's having internal bleeding.
On asking her what happened, this is what she said. Her boyfriend and herself have been together for eight months. He wanted a baby, but she wanted to push conception till a few weeks before marriage. He would have none of it, and threatened to leave her. She begged him to stay, but his mind was made up. She later on admitted that he had a another girlfriend.
Okay. The only way to convince him was to state the obvious - she was already pregnant. Her moods were all over. From an irritable psyche to a depressed mind, name it all. She was anxious, morbidly brooding, always crying because she feared ending up alone, and she'd lost appetite. This mental distress triggered a hormonal disregulation, that was now causing uterine contractions, at only 4 weeks into the pregnancy.
She has no history of previous pregnancy terminations, and has never suffered any STI. She has one sexual partner, but worries her boyfriend may have more. His emotional detachment after she told him she was pregnant is what drove her into mild vaginal bleeding. But right now it's worse, and we're sure her body will reject this pregnancy.
My Thoughts:
Most of you here get into love, without setting any standards. Of course some standards are just delusional, but there are practical ones. Love shouldn't be transactional all the way. This guy really liked the lady. The lady by the way is very attractive, and her face was just outstanding. But all the dude saw was breasts and butts to pleasure himself with, not realizing that this beautiful creature could make a very loving and kind wife.
I didn't want to burden you with the entire clinical history. But you can see what the crossroads of commitment are becoming nowadays. People want to love, but they don't want to shoulder the burden of love. As for me, I will love my spouse as though we were tiny toddlers in Hogwarts. God help meš

I personally donāt mind the weekly cope and hate posts when itās just about the episode, but this sub is at its worst when the posts are complaining about fans for liking or disliking the episode.
That said, Iāll admit those types of posts are much more rare than the standard āitās not that badā/āit sucksā posts, so I hope everyone just keeps in mind that we are all here in the first place because we like this series whether or not we agree about the anime.

Hey, so Iām new to the scene so donāt really know much about the open vs pro thing but why donāt the top athletes who are consistently placing as one of the bests in Open just not do Pro? I see some of them doing both but I thought it would just be natural progression of the sport to compete at the highest level for the top guys to just go compete at Pro level once you get high enough ranking in Open.
Are these guys just placing more pride and emphasis on running and less so on the strength? These guys are obviously crazy and elite athletes but I imagine its more like āo great you placed top 10 in open but how are you at Pro lvl?ā. Is this not the case? I get they dgaf but just curious.

Evert since I was in middle school, I was promised that, with a good degree, I could just pick whatever job I want.
Lies and lies all around.
I has my engineer degree 5 years ago, but I can't find a proper job. I either got hired for a specific time, and at the end of Mt Co tract, I was basically said "thanks for completing the project, here us the door !" Or, I got hired for a job where I had the same wage than the 20 you secretary, who had a husband to make ends meet.
Two Yeats ago, after a client insulted me and my boss did nothing, and I couldn't find a job where I lived, I finally made the decision to move 2000 miles away and start fresh. It was hard, I left everything but my cats behind.
I found a first job that fired me a month into it because I wasn't "pulling my weight enough" by just working 12 hours a day instead of almost 14.
I was contacted a month later for one huge project in the area, one that had to last at least until 2027. I thought that would be it. I thought I could get permanently hired by this company, and remain with them even after the end of the project.
They are cutting the number of engineer on that project on February.
I was shown the door once again.
I have been looking for jobs in my area, but I can't find anything. Either the wage is ridiculously low, or they call me to tell me I don't have the experience they want, but they'll keep my resume, just in case, or the HR don't pick up their phone on the day and time we agreed upon and don't answer my emails.
I had an interview last week for a job I really, really want, even if, once again, it's for a limited time. I was stressed. I stuttered. I had troubles finding my answers.
I'm sure I screwed it up.
Another candidate was waiting outside. He looked stress-free and sure of himself.
I'm just waiting for the call telling me he got the job and not me.
When it arrives, I'll have to accept another offer. I dodkt receive any yet. I have an interview for a job 2000 miles away from where I live. They offer to pay for the transport between where I currently live and where the project is, but they won't do anything more. I have cays, I can't leave them alone for the week, so I'll have to move again if I don't find anything else.
I do t want to move again, but I can't remain jobless. I don't have that kind of savings.
And the project last just 11 months, so if I accept this, I'll have to start everything over next year.
I had finally built a life here, I was finally making friends.
I don't want to move, but I don't see any other solution.
I wish I wasn't told those stupid lies. I want to go back to a time where everything was more simple, with my parents and siblings, where WI just had to worry about my grades.
I can't do this anymore....
