2025.02.01 23:01 DumA1024 Aluminum contaminated w/ Stainless Steel shavings question
I'm melting Al pipe and reamer shavings into ingots for future casting projects.
I know there's small Stainless Steel shavings from a chop saw mixed in a little. I tried separating it a bit by grabbing only the big Al reamer chips.
Will the Stainless contaminate the Al ingots?
Ni is ~2600, Fe is ~2800, and Cr is ~3400. With Al only needing about 1200, and I'm probably pouring at 1800, I don't think there would be a problem. But I digress.
Any insight would be much appreciated. Hope yall having a good one.

So, Im an overwatch player who from 2016 and there on out watched his beloved child turn into a crackhead. (I have 2k hours) I decided to download Rivals and see how it was and here are my impressions,thoughts about the game and balancing.
*I used to main Reinhardt for Tank and couldnt find anything to match him. A thing about thanks in this game is that their damage feels…Lacking? I feel like Im tickling the guy with practically every tank Ive played so far
*This game is gonna suffer from the same fate as pre role queue Overwatch, 6 Insta Lock DPS goes 7 in 16 doesnt swap.
*Ive found Moon Knight as a comfort character, Easy to use, Helpful, Nice ult.
*I also find Iron Fist to be a shitload of fun. Hes harder to play sure but my god its enjoyable.
*Supports are really strong in this game, Some of them can outheal the dmg of DPS characters
*Hawkeye is way too strong (Pre Nerf Hanzo) Same goes for Hela. Especially with Hela I feel like with an Ult that strong it should have greater risk? It feels way too safe.
*Jeff is annoying but fun to have on the team.
*I hate Squirrel Girl,Iron Man, Spider Man (if Im not playing Iron Fist) Especially in the case of Iron Man its just…annoying.
*I tried using Bucky to simulate Mcree as I mained him in Overwatch 1 (before they ruined my boy) But I quickly found out his kit is way more different, Yet fun.
*And If I hear “Armed and Dangerous” one more time Im gonna lose it

2025.02.01 23:01 Rednehga Why did I suddenly go from 55s/it to 3s/it then back to 55s/it?
I'm on an RTX4050 with 6GBs of VRAM and 32GBs of RAM, using koboldcpp and flux1-dev-Q4_K_S.gguf.
The first time I loaded the model on kobold, iteration time was 55s/it. Then I tried switching to other model loaders but eventually went back to kobold and suddenly the iteration time was 3s/it. Then I closed kobold, changed nothing, reloaded the model, and iteration time was back to 55s/it. What the hell is going on?
Nothing is wrong with my machine before anyone suggests that, and I'm sure kobold was utilizing the RTX4050 in both cases.
