I already have Legacy Silverbolt, but I think I should even the odds with a Predacon. So my question is, out of the recent Predacon molds we've gotten throughout WFC and Legacy, which overall is the best figure in terms of accuracy, kibble management and (most importantly) articulation?

2025.02.01 23:42 Golden_Platinum A certain underwhelming character from Book 1 in Book 2 [spoilers]
I loved to hate Sadeas Torol in the first book. Solid villain and great introduction to this new world for a new reader (previously only read Mistborn Book 1 in the Cosmere series, and wasn’t interested in reading further). But the characters in Way of Kings, especially the main villain, were soo good, I was strongly interested in the sequel.
So I was disappointed at how irrelevant Sadeas was in Book 2. After that blockbuster showdown in Book 1, you’d expect some major fallout in Book 2. Instead he largely did…nothing. At least compared to his actions in Book 1 (declared Minister of Investigations for a large chunk which impacted Dalinar, the War betrayal).
In Book 2 Sadeas made vague plans like stepping down from his Minister position to undermine Dalinar(this is largely ineffective and not really referred to after it’s done). He spread misinformation about Dalinars revelation fits (the knowledge of the fits was already widely talked about). He had vague plans to “remove Dalinar and become King”. I assume he was the one supporting Grave and the assassination against Elkohar? (a largely irrelevant character despite being King, but a King in name only. Dalinar called the shots).
And then after he sits out the final showdown, after the Shattered plains core was located and the portal/city opened. Then Sadeas limps back into the plot. Makes idiotic statements to his enemies son without his bodyguards being nearby in a secluded location. And was unceremoniously and randomly killed off.
Like bruh, the disrespect.
I think the author kept Sadeas alive in Book 1 so there’s a strong hook for Book 2, but he didn’t have any specific plan hammered down. Then he sat Sadeas out of the main plot for much of the story, waiting to use him, but after 450,000 words, author realised “wtf do I do with this eye sore this late in the game?” He’s irrelevant in the world of Radiants, Voidbringers and Heralds. So he JRRMd Sadeas at the hands of the only non-Radiant human of importance in the plot.
But that Book 1 scene where Dalinar unleases his Shard, faces Sadeas, the world slows down, Adolin prepares to activate his Shard, then Dalinar gives up his Shard for the Bridgmen chefs kiss. Still the most Kino moment of this series so far for me. Better than alll of Book 2 at least.
I hope Book 3 is more compelling. But I’m skeptical of that because Book 2 has such drastic power escalation (you have Kaladin flying around like Goku) that it seems Book 3 will be full on Shounen madness.

I wanted to get information if there are any size variations from vintage to current double mackinaw cruisers?
If the 44 fits me just right pit to pit wise 23 inches and I don’t think I’ll be able to wear a sweater underneath it but the 46 has a pit to pit of 24 inches. I went to an actual Filson store and the medium fits but it’s tight in the arms. The large fits does this mean the large is the 46? My suit jacket size is 46

2025.02.01 23:41 No-Mango1901 Shower nausea
I (15F) was taking a shower this morning then out of nowhere I got this awful stomach pain. My stomach always hurts so I didn’t think much of it but like a minute after I started feeling horribly nauseous and my vision started blurring and I almost fainted. I had to climb out of the shower and I just sat in front of the toilet for a couple of minutes before I got the strength to move to my bed. I just lay in my bed and after like ten minutes I was completely fine. I know it’s normal to feel nauseous in the shower especially when the water’s hot, which it was, but I usually have it even hotter than today and i’ve never experienced this. I’ve also never seen stomach pain be a symptom of water being too hot. It’s probably just that I was hungry or dehydrated but I still find it really strange.

Yep you read that right . My best friend ended up getting his gf pregnant. He ended up marrying her because of that , she gave birth and he said he knew immediately he wasn’t the father, he tried to convince himself he was but ended up divorcing and was ordered by the court to take a dna test, he wasn’t the father. Fast forward 20yrs and an investigator shows up at his house, they quickly tell him he isn’t in trouble but they had a few questions. They were investigating a case of incest involving his ex wife , her father had already been dna tested and was the father. He hasn’t been sentenced yet but remains in jail without bond.

When did yall take a nice hot bath postpartum? I gave birth almost 3 weeks ago, vaginally. I did have 2 second degree tears that got stitched. My recovery has gone very quickly! bleeding has entirely stopped, I’m walking 30+ minutes a day, im off all pain meds and stool softeners. Everyone in my house is napping and I would just die for a lovely hot bath all by myself 🫠
