Greetings, members of the MysteryDungeon writing guild! ♪ This is where your prompts for the upcoming Writing Prompt Wednesday (WPW) can be submitted for nomination!
Now then, let me explain the process. This nomination thread will be set to "contest mode" for the next 48 hours. During that time, each user will be able to submit a single writing prompt of their own making in a comment. Other users will be able to vote for the prompt or prompts that they deem worthy simply by upvoting them. The comment with the highest vote count by the end of this period will be submitted as Wednesday's prompt, courtesy of me!
The format of your submission should be as follows: a one-sentence title at the beginning of your comment and, optionally, a line break followed by your description of the prompt.
It is important to keep in mind that editing your comment after submitting it will cause it to not be considered for that week's vote, even if it has received the highest vote count. Also, prompts that have the potential to lead into NSFW territory will not be permitted. Any attempts to tarnish the guild's image will not be tolerated! Squawk!

Once the 48-hour voting period has passed, this thread will revert to the default sort and the ranking of the prompts will be revealed to the entire guild. Perhaps you can use this information to try improving upon a previous prompt, or coming up with a prompt that has a high chance of winning. All of this is up to you.

2025.02.02 00:00 OGAtlasHugged Anyone Else Dislike the Weapon Build System?
I really dislike how customizing a weapon automatically saves it as a new build. I greatly prefer the system up until now where you could save blueprints if you wanted to, but it wasn't forced upon you clogging up the menu with useless saves. Now everything is a blueprint. I find myself customizing my weapons even less now because they all have a basic degree of customization as soon as I re-equip them (after a prestige or changing weapons, etc.). I also don't ever use blueprints any more because that's even more clutter in the menus, especially since attachment skins have been broken forever. I just feel like the old system achieved the same purpose while being simpler and without creating a bunch of pseudo-blueprints for every single gun in the game.
