I'm an engineer in the auto industry. I was working on a dyno system running a very large diesel engine. Like as big as a standard American bedroom sized engine for a ship. I asked the very intelligent engineer in charge of the engine project how powerful it was. His response was similar to this:
"OH, not very powerful. If you took a box about this big (draws a box with his arms in the air) and filled it with hair dryers, it's about that powerful."
So, ladies and gentlemen, I give you the unit "square feet of hairdryers".. Anything but metric.

Without going into great detail and leaving out the boring parts, DD -ing is making life doable. This year started off stressful and money stress is a part of it.
The weird part is the most valuable things I've been finding wouldn't normally be considered useful but it's helping a lot. I'm grateful I have the means to do this.

I bought a litre of cheap (Creative Deco brand) gesso for painting acrylic on canvas but this stuff dries powdery and dusty and I end up sanding dry lumps off between coats. I don't mind the quirks so much but if it's drying all powdery.
I'm a bit worried about it cracking or flaking off in the future. Has anyone else used this brand and what do you think of it? It comes in a long white plastic bottle, more like a washing up liquid/dishsoap bottle than an ordinary gesso container. The label is pretty nondescript but it's called "Creative Deco". It's available as litre bottles of white, clear or black but I've only tried the white stuff.
Is the dry powdery finish a bad thing?

Just a quick post. I just finished the boss rush on normal just recently, and felt pretty accomplished! I thought it would be cool if I got a reward for it, maybe a recolor of Adol and Karja's outfit, or a recolor of the Balta Sea Force uniform. I didn't get one though. I get why, that the reward for the challenge is the challenge itself. But I just thought it would be cool if they had done it. Also, I know that this company likes to sell skins as preorders and DLC which is fine, I just wanted a cool outfit is all. I'm off for my 2nd playthrough to try and get 100% achievements!
