Hello. I was reading about my pain med (Tramadol) and came across opioid-induced hyperalgesia. My question is: do you feel worse pain while med is in your system? Or between doses?
How does opioid-induced hyperalgesia feel and WHEN would you feel it? At which point in your daily routine of meditation?
I have no idea if that made sense⊠I have MS and a very bad brain fog day.

Hello everyone! So, I am panicking right now. Need help!!! Here's my situation.... my husband LOVES to travel. He's been all over the world to so many countries. As for me, I'm scared of everything. My fear of flying and being away from home has prevented me to experience so many wonderful opportunities. I'm a realist and I get it, I really do, but somehow fear takes over me from every opportunity that I'm given and prevents me from taking a leap of faith. Then, when he returns, I regret not going. It's an endless cycle. Last week, my husbands family said at dinner that they are all going on a cruise at the end of August. About 20 of them are going. Of course I had to smile and look excited....when deep down I'm panicking and having a mental and physical breakdown. I have avoided cruises all my life because of not only my fear of getting sea sick, but I also am claustrophobic. God forbid there's an emergency at home and I can't get to my parents. I'm stuck on that boat. AND, my biggest fear.....GETTING SEA SICK! I'm very sensitive to even car rides (if i'm not driving), and I can't go on any rides. Me and my husband go fishing in the bay all of the time on a 20ft boat, and I can only take so much. The little rocking won't really affect me, but if it's consistent it'll start to get to me and I'll feel sick. So, after dinner, of course my husband was excited. He told our kids, and of course THEY'RE excited beyond belief. They've always wanted to go on a cruise. But of course I've been the one holding us all back. Thank goodness my husband is patient with me. I'm annoying, i know. Lol. Anyway, I said to myself, "Alright. I have to suck it up I guess." Then, I started googling. And guess what I found out......WE'RE SUPPOSED TO GO RIGHT DURING PEAK HURRICANE SEASON!!!!! PEAAAAKKK!!!! So, anyone, please.....give me the details.....experiences.....give it all to me! What are my chances of getting sea sick??? This is the main thing holding me back from wanting to go. I almost want to back out right now because I'm reading that there will most likely be rough waters. I'm FREAKING OUT. But, I really want honest feedback from whoever has been on a cruise during hurricane season. Will the waters be bad?? Will I feel the boat rock??? Is anyone else sensitive to getting sea sick???? THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! And ps.....I'm sorry that I sound like a lunatic. I get it. I know how I sound. But my background history in life is that I never traveled growing up. Like this boom JUST happened. Let me tell you something, not two month ago I was in a Dollar General where I saw 151 Poster Editions sitting. For TWO weeks they sat there. Now forget Dollar General I'll be happy if I can get SV boosters at Hobby Lobby for $6.00. Now I hear Shrouded Fables is getting attention! Nothing Pokemon is accessible any more. The only place that has it is Card Shops which I don't like going to because the packs will be around the chase cards themselves, so what's the point? Not to sound dramatic but I liked the thrill of the pack, yeah it was essentially gambling but at least I had something! And not to dismiss the boom completely, the past weekend I sold enough cards to buy a whole Booster box if I wanted to. And I'm a Business Major, I buy Pokemon to take a break from all the Accounting and Economics classes, not to see a real-life scenario of a Bull-Market. TLDR: Scalpers make me want to start drinking; again.
