I really need help finding this book. If seen posts about similar books and have gone through all of them. And they're not it. I never hot to finish this book o started it in middle school 2008. Hey there! I’m a new diver, freshly got my PADI OWD, and I’d like to do a few specialty courses. I’ve talked to a local instructor, and found out that the fees paid out to PADI for the training material and the certification is about $85 per course, which is about/almost half of the price of the whole course in most cases. I think it’s way too much for one-day courses, and since I’m not interested in receiving certifications, only learning new skills, I was wondering if it’s an established practice in the dive community to pay for only the education without passing an exam?

I bought a fake The row half moon bag and realized that it was obviously fake. I made a dispute through depop and within 15 minutes of receiving the dispute confirmation email, I receive a email saying that the buyer is refunding my purchase and to wait 10 days for it to show up in my account. There was no mention of needing me to ship the item back to the seller. Has this happened to anyone before? Is it too good to be true, or has depop improved its buyer protection?

2025.02.02 02:51 Valandomar I'm not convinced that oats are good food anymore.
Ever since I had interest in nutrition I read about the benefits of oats online. I never heard of anyone eating oats at work, amongst my family, heck not even anyone I know who's into fitness and goes to the gym eats oats.
I thought something is off here. How is this food so popular online? I started reading more about oats and turns out oats have a compound called anti-nutrients sych as phytic acid and apparently anti-nutrients are plant compounds that reduce the body's ability to absorb essential nutrients. I still didn't want to jump to conclusions since im not an expert.
I started looking more into this and turns out outside of this platform, there are several doctors, cardiologists and nutritionists who discussed oats and listening to [this video from this doctor] https://youtu.be/Faup23zVDJU?si=YVTddOzZdPyzVioy was very insightful. He discussed three main points, the first is how blood-sugar and cholesterol level studies on oats can be misleading, the second is that oats actually aren't gluten free and contain a type of protein called avenin which can worsen constipation (in my case it literally gave me chronic constipation according to my GI doctor but that's a different topic) and the third point is Glyphosate, which is a wheet killer added to kill plants quickly and dry them up. He touched on every point in detail in a 7 minute video.
On the othrr hand, there are doctors who believe oats was food that was served in the past for the poor working class which contributed to poor genetics and eventually companies like Quaker and Kelloggs convinced people that this is a super food that's part of a healthy diet like this doctor but I understand how this can sound very conspicuous and off-putting.
Honestly my final conclusion is that I don't want to risk that all of these doctors are just liars who have personal beef with oats but rather the points in the first video made a lot of sense to me and it's not like oats taste THAT good anyways that I have to risk all that. Might as well eat whatever else I can for breakfast.

Heya! I'm new to apex so I have no clue what is happening.
I am playing on Pc and so far I haven't been able to join any games what so ever, I have tried what feels like everything online for solutions from restarting router, joining a different server, flushing dns. NOTHING IS WORKING!!!!!!! I have a 4070 PC as well with a decent internet connection (although wireless) and I get stuck in the queue at 2-4 players in queue but continue to be stuck wait for upwards of 30 minutes at this point. Please help :(

I've been atheist/agnostic (raised Catholic) for nearly two decades now. I was just talking about this with my (raised athiest) lifelong best friend.
We've gone through our spiritual/religious decontstuction/awakening etc together. She wasn't raised religious, but we were raised together in a strictly Irish Catholic town.
Anyway, we kept bringing up aspects that we miss about the church community. I truly miss the aspect of having such a sense of community, dozens and dozens of people that would do so much for you.
The reasons I long for this sense of community are honestly superficial. But I wish there was a way for atheists to have an equivalent. It doesn't make sense to have an equivalent however, with nothing "forcing" us to be there. Idk
