2025.02.02 02:50 lifafafa Sales Ops roles anywhere? What am i missing?
Hi, looking for some guidance here. i’ve recently moved to the States and have about 8 years of experience( pre sales+enablement+sales analytics+ more recently sales ops). I have been applying to jobs for a couple of months now, without even a single call back. I am not sure if i am missing something? Career hasn’t been in a single profile so far. Started with pre sales in a service company, moved to a global research firm as an analyst ( though it involved plenty of sales support and enablement), then to pure play enablement role, and finally in an operations role. Considering this, i have also been applying for entry level roles ( plus the fact that this would be my first job in the US) but no avail.
3 months ago, i would have thought that an MBA with the kind of experience i have should land me at least an entry level role but i feel like I overestimated. Anyone has any tips as to what might work? What should an ideal resume look like? Experience includes - quota setting, pipeline management, forecasting. Worked with a SaaS company prior to this, now with a data protection firm.
I have tried personalising my resume, cold emails, applying to any and all sales ops and support roles. Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you

 | Approved today! Excited for this one on the IWI Zion 12.5” pistol. I’ve tried my brother’s Polonium—great can for the price but because of the gas to the face I knew I wanted one with lower backpressure. Found this Velos on a sale for $850 so for the price it should be a great balance of sound performance, durability, and flash reduction. Only downside is the weight, but instead of the ASR mount I’m using a Rearden R2S flash hider with Charlie Atlas adapter, so that cuts weight and length down a bit. Doesn’t feel too bad in the hands.  | Went to a service call, customer stated there was smoke coming from furnace, and that they shut off the gas and power to furnace. Found rollout switches, wires and intake air pipe melted. Checked ventor motor, exhaust and intake air pipe for blockages, and incoming gas pressure, rollout switches are closed and not tripped. Restarted furnace fully expecting it to roll out. Furnace starts normally, checked operating gas pressure and temperatures, and preformed combustion analysis. So i had photoshop downloaded on my laptop as i previously took a class which required me to use it, however i no longer take that class therefor no longer need it. I’ve been running into a lot of issues on my laptop lately due to lack of storage so i decided to delete all the programs i no longer use, which includes creative cloud. My issue is that I can’t find a way to uninstall photoshop without updating the creative cloud app, but I can’t update the app because I don’t have enough storage to download the update. Anyone know what I should do?

We're about to have baby girl #2 and are still working on names. Our first daughter's middle name is a nod to my grandmother - think "Eliza" for "Elizabeth" or "Sophia" for "Sophie". I'd like to do the same for baby girl #2 for her great grandmother Bernice but I'm not a huge fan of Bernice as a name in general. Any ideas for names that give a nod to Bernice but aren't actually Bernice?
We don't have a first name picked out yet so it doesn't really have to go with anything particular.

Rek'Sai was once a dominant early-game jungler, known for her strong dueling power and ability to snowball games. But after her rework, she became one of the least picked champions with a negative win rate, and here’s why:
- Buffed Passive, Nerfed Damage: Riot's attempt to buff Rek'Sai’s passive (Fury of the Xer'Sai) aimed to make her more sustainable, but it came at the expense of nerfing her damage. This essentially gutted her early-game impact, and she no longer has the same burst potential that made her strong. Without that early power, she struggles to snowball games and punish enemies, which leaves her feeling underwhelming.
- Losing True Damage: A significant part of Rek'Sai’s identity was her true damage, which allowed her to deal with tanks and squishier enemies alike. Losing this ability made her feel even more irrelevant in both early and late-game fights. Without that extra damage, Rek'Sai has little to no presence when compared to other junglers.
- Over-reliance on Passive for Power: Rek'Sai’s entire kit now revolves around her passive, but the problem is, you can only burrow once in fights, and that’s not enough. While other junglers have multiple ways to engage, escape, and contribute, Rek'Sai feels stuck with a single ability that doesn’t provide much utility. One knock-up on a long cooldown doesn’t cut it anymore when everyone else has so much more to offer.
- She Falls Off After the Early Game: Rek'Sai’s biggest flaw is that she’s incredibly reliant on the early game to have an impact. Once she misses her window to snowball, she falls off hard and becomes a liability. Other junglers can continue to scale and remain useful, but Rek'Sai's lack of utility and scaling makes her useless once the game enters the mid-to-late stages.
Conclusion: Rek'Sai’s rework has failed to make her relevant in the current meta. By buffing her passive and nerfing her damage, Riot stripped away the core of what made her fun and impactful. Other junglers now offer more damage, utility, and scaling, leaving Rek'Sai to rot in the low-tier pick list. If Riot wants her to feel good to play again, they need to bring back some of her identity and give her more late-game utility without compromising her early power.
