I'm new to this sub but wanted to ask my fellow potter heads something if y'all got the answer I got this wand at universal studios 3 years ago and last month I lost it until I found it this morning outside in my backyard. It's been through the cold, heat, and rain throughout that time and I saw that the sensor at the top is chipped as well :/ If I were to go back to diagon alley, could I still use this specific wand for those wand tricks? I live in the Charlottesville area and my daughters are both in their teens. I was thinking of doing an overnight hiking trip with them. I would love ideas of an out and back trail, preferably around water so we could swim. Nothing too strenuous, they'd never come with me again! Any ideas? What is your favorite? We would set up a tent and camp overnight, then hike back out in the morning.

I (female) have an older male coworker and we’ve been friends for a few years, or so I thought but recently I just always feel bad around him. We have other mutual work friends too. I always felt he liked me as a person and was always happy to see me, and we have the same sense of humour. We used to really have fun together, like having your “person” at work. Another male coworker even told me once that I’m his favourite person and he talks very highly of me.
The past month or so I feel he’s been acting different but it’s not in an obvious way that I feel comfortable confronting him about. Whereas he used to be happy to see me, I feel like now he doesn’t even greet me with hi if I walk by. I arrived at work and he was standing talking to someone and didn’t look when I rounded the corner. The other person said hi to me and he only looked at me when I wasn’t looking at him. He does that all the time
If another coworker is at my desk he’ll come over and talk but not really include me in the conversation. He listens to everyone else but doesn’t show the same care for me. Today someone asked me about myself and he gets this weird look on his face when I start talking, like distant and assessing me. It makes me uneasy. But then the next second he turns to someone and says “and how are you doing”. He knew what he was doing because when the two of us were walking together after he begrudgingly asked me about my life. He never does that. I’m really at a loss. I used to feel like he really liked me. I didn’t do anything. A month ago we saw a movie together and we both had a good time. Since then it’s been downhill. I tried making conversation today and he just doesn’t care about what I say. Yet outside of work he texts me and things like that. I think I’m done with him. He makes a big show about caring about everyone else but I feel like he deliberately tries to make me seem like I’m not as important to him. Then he notices I’m upset and the next day is back to joking around with me. It’s really toxic
For example a group of us went out for dinner. When I showed up he didn’t say hi but I could feel him watching me. Another person showed up and he was all gregarious, hi! And told them to squeeze in beside him. It makes me roll my eyes internally. It’s as if I’ve done something to him which I haven’t. But then after a couple drinks he can’t pretend anymore. When I was leaving I looked back and he was already looking at me and we smiled and waved to each other and it’s the first time he’s had a sincere/genuine look in a long time. Towards me I mean. Why is he playing this game? I’ve never even rejected him. There’s nothing to reject because nothing outright has been said

if I do not stop this addiction which is similar to drugs for the last time i take my life because i will continue to be a slave to my animal desires i have not harmed anyone in my life except myself and i still do because i lose my self control every time i do not know whether to blame the addiction myself or both If i had not continued with this filth it would have been i reached my goals a long time ago
