I’ve been trying to get in touch with a property manager for close to a week now. I sent a text message on Tuesday which was blue and delivered. Every time I call this person’s number it goes straight to voicemail. I sent a text today which is blue but it doesn’t say delivered. Could this mean I’m blocked? We both have iPhones.

We're planning to offboard Broadcom and possibly move to Azure Local or Hyper-V. Had a call with our VAR regarding this and they're saying that Azure Local would be preferable due to its ease of management from the Azure portal. In other words, native Hyper-V's management is not as friendly. Is this a valid reason to prefer Azure Local over Hyper-V?

There seems to be a lot of fear around exportation targets from Trump at the moment. I wanted to share something that is not meant to be a judgement of good or bad, but to put some perspective on things.
What Trump is saying now with regards to policy is very similar to what Hillary Clinton was saying in 2008. His target numbers put him around 540,000 deportations per year, and in 2016 Obama deported 530,000 people.
I don’t mean to say all things or equal or anything is good or bad. In fact the opposite - I think everything is being painted as either 100% good or 100% evil, and I mean to say that everything is somewhere in between right and wrong, disastrous and not disastrous. But this is not the first time we have seen this kind of talk or action.
Everything is a pendulum. We never correct exactly and stay there. We over-correct in one direction and then we over-correct in the other.
I want everyone to be treated fairly and I hope we all look out for one another. I would suggest that while none of us can personally impact world or national politics, we can all impact how we treat each other and how we think about each other. None of us are perfect, every one of us is wrong about something, every one of us is right about something, and damn near all of us are good people. I hope y’all each have a good night. Stay friendly and care about each other.

2025.02.02 02:41 IcyInternet8680 My parents treat my brother better than me. Is this fair?
For context: My brother is a year younger than me (male) and does not have any disabilities. So, it would not make any sense for them to treat any differently from me.
For the past few years I have noticed that my parents treat my brother better than me. Although, my mom is generally more fair. The favoritism is still there.
An example of this is the fact that my brother often does not do any chores around the house, and I'm pretty sure he hasn't ever done any in his life. In contrast, I do some of the chores around the house (cleaning the dishes and brooming the house sometimes) which I admit, is barely anything but, shouldn't he do some too?
They also go softer on him. For example, A few months ago my brother broke my computer for making a fuss when I did not give him the computer charger even though there was another one in the house. This action went unpunished, and it ended up me losing my computer. And they even gave him a NEW COMPUTER on christmas!(and all I got was some paint and brushes even though I don't have a canvas and asked for some shoes. But don't get me wrong I'm thankful.)I ended up with my brother's hand-me down computer which has a broken key and I can't drag it because of how many times he has hit it for generally being bad at gaming.
They are also more trusting with him and his friends and never snoops on his devices, or ever questions them. But when it comes to me, When my dad sees that I am acting even a little suspicious he'll take the phone and check whatever I was doing or even check my other apps. He'll tell me to stop talking to my friends after talking for a certain amount of time, which my brother has talked with his friends for hours and it magically went unnoticed. My dad has also deleted the contact of my friend for no reason.
Lastly, It always seems that he comes first. For example, he used to beg for video games when we ever go shopping. Which was about$ 50 and they always went with his begging. But then, $20 was way too expensive for me. And recently my parents noticed that my brother's nipple was a bit swollen and he said it was hurting so they brought him to the clinic and got him an appointment.(Which is completely valid) but while with me, My stomach hurts quite often for some small periods of times and it has for months although it has calm down a little after changing my eating styles. When I addressed this to my parents, they kinda dismissed it. But they did end up bringing me to the clinic after I asked him. But, I could not get checked out because they were full. I have never gone back since.
What do you think? is this fair? is this concerning? or am I just being a brat?
