 | My girlfriend made this succulent terrarium from a class, in the center there's some white objects formed that resemble webs a bit? I think this is just something succulents do but she's wondering if the plant has mites. Any insight? 2025.02.02 03:00 AlbertFishstein 24M I got shot in the eye by a nerf dart yesterday and it still aches, I'm being paranoid but is there anything a doctor would do? Should I wear an eyepatch or something?
Title explains it, it's been about 36 hours and if I look at something bright or just throughout the day it aches, not bad enough to impede me from doing anything but enough for me to notice. I've always had anxiety over losing vision and things like that so I'm a bit more nervous than I'd usually be for an injury this small.
The eye is a bit bloodshot but doesn't look too bad from what I can tell. Is there anything a doctor would really do for me? I know I'm being too nervous but I would appreciate some advice or reassurance.

I’m a moderator over at 1102, the subreddit for federal and military acquisition professionals. Given recent developments, we’ve had to implement strict rules prohibiting discussions on resigning, retiring, or taking the buyout/severance offers due to an influx of posts from people either announcing their departure or seeking advice on leaving government service.
This has led to spam, trolling, and bad actors (including bots and external influences) trying to push federal employees toward these decisions. To keep our subreddit focused on professional discussions, we’ve removed these topics entirely.
I’d strongly recommend that PatentExaminer considers a similar approach to prevent:
- Unwanted outside influence pressuring federal employees to leave.
- The subreddit becoming overwhelmed with off-topic posts about quitting instead of patent examination work.
- Bots and trolls exploiting the buyout/severance discussions.

Goal: sub-40 10k on road
Age: 20
Sex: Female
Current weekly mileage: 100-140km (62-83mi) per week. This has been consistent for about the past year.
Current training: I follow a training plan put together for me by a coach, which involves 2 intervals sessions, 1 tempo workout, a long run of 2-3.5 hours (depending on phase of training) and the rest easy. (Yes I have a coach, yes any serious discussions about this should and will be with her, but for giggles I wanted to see what Reddit thinks)
Relevant recent workouts: last weekend I did 3*10' tempo @ 4:00-4:05 pace/2' jog recovery and for the most part that felt super good and I didn't feel any lactic burning. But I would not have been keen for a 4th interval.
Current PRs: 18:55 5k in late December 2024 (although since then I've been hovering around 19:20-19:30 under less perfect conditions). 1:29 for HM in July 2024. My last road 10k was Feb 2024, which remains my PB at 40:35 or so (clock was dodgy).
I really want to see the underside of 40 minutes in my next road 10k but I fear I'm gonna come very close and miss. The event is a small local thing, two laps of a mostly flat loop. Walking is allowed so there's pretty bad traffic in the second lap (when runners lap the walkers) Based on my PRs and training, do you Redditors think sub40 is realistic? Any pacing tips?

In my honest opinion anything that use “soul/life” energy are all almost somewhat similar. Obviously some have more restrictions and shit but for the most part I believe Haki is equal to Ki, Chakra, Nen, (maybe) cursed energy and anything similar to that. Obviously something like Fire Force, Magi or even Toriko that mainly has the powers from they respected verse be an outside source (technically Chakra is in this due to the end of Naruto retconning shit) isn’t included in this debate.
I’m not gonna act like I’m an expert on either series or even pretend that I’m more than a novice when it comes to powerscaling but this just makes more sense to me but I wanna know what the general consensus is for the community

Putting this in a different thread from my main colonoscopy report … for about a 24-hour period after my second dose of PlenVu, I had difficulty peeing. Like most men who live long enough, I have an enlarged prostate and take Flomax to help with that, and the feeling after the second dose of PlenVu (there were no issues after the first dose) was like if I took a decongestant pill, which can cause the same difficulties for people with an enlarged prostate. I was just curious if this had happened to anyone else, because if I should ever need to have another colonoscopy I might try to get my doctor to give me a different prep.

So I apologize if this is stupid to ask or the wrong sub to ask ir whatever but I had an interesting experience and I’d like to get everyone’s take on it. A while back I was getting ready to go out and lost my evil eye bracelet. I just figured it had broken but about half an hour later I found it in the trash can , unbroken. I wasn’t under the influence of anything and all I can assume is it somehow fell of when I went to throw something away but I can’t believe I didn’t like notice it come off my arm. I know in cases of it breaking it’s symbolic of it having done its work but what are your feelings on this situation? I’m sorry I know this sounds stupid of me to ask but it happened a while ago and it’s just been on my mind since ! I have not worn the bracelet again however i have kept it
