I used to just date men and they always pay for our dates even if I insist that I pay for my part especially if we are still in the early stages. I am dating a woman now to see how it goes. For starters I feel like being made a meal ticket and I do not like it. I am the only one who pays for our dates. She does not even make an effort to show that she wants to pay for at least her part. I think she feels like I should be grateful because we are together or something. I am not sure if there is supposed to be a man / woman role but I think I am the supposed "man" because I am the one paying. Is this how it is supposed to go in woman to woman relationships?

2025.02.02 03:40 earlybird2350 DVC at Beach Club worth it while Stormalong Bay is closed?
Looking at rent DVC points for an upcoming Spring Break trip. With as highly regarded as Beach Club seems to be on this subreddit, I find it odd that so many Beach Club options are available in April. My only assumption, which may be wrong, is that those in the know feel like its not worth the $500+ a night price if the pool is closed.
As a first timer WDWer traveling with a 4 and 7 year old, I'd like to know if Beach Club still be worth it if while these renovations occur or should we book elsewhere? I see other good things mentioned like the location but not sure if that alone makes it a winner. Any advice would be appreciated.

Well, turns out im not quite done with my old iphone. I need to get into some apps that didnt have the logins carry over. Only thing is, is that my screen is smashed and so i can hardly see anything much less use the top 70 percent of the screen. Since i dont really have a use for it beyond some stuff i need to get from it, is there a way to mirror the screen onto say: a computer or remotely use the screen via a computer or something? This post might get buried, but I appreciate any/all input if you're seeing this.
I'm American, and being trans, especially in the state I live in, I don't realistically see myself making it through the next 4 years. Myself (18) and my older sister (21) are both LGBTQ+ and I really, really fear for her and my safety moving into the future. She is out to our parents, I am not.
I am in my second semester of freshman college and she is almost done -- final semester. My current self-debate is this: Do I try to stay in school and just try and lay low for four years or do I drop out and work enough jobs to save up and move out of the country? I am currently leaning more toward the second, but the only thing is I'd have to come up with a convincing excuse (that doesn't involve me being trans) to tell my family. I'm thinking I'll work multiple jobs until my sister graduates, then move and probably rent somewhere in Ireland until it's safe here again. I truly am at a loss here, and I appreciate anything thrown my way.

2025.02.02 03:40 bigskymind Long term barefoot / minimal shoes wearer but now developing achilles tendonitis issues from over-use. Now what?
I've not worn traditional shoes for many years now (either going barefoot or wearing barefoot shoes) and am in the process of training for a 12 day hike in about 6 weeks time. I will probably wear Altra LonePeaks for that walk as I tend to do on longer multi-day hikes with a pack.
I've been training with a weighted 12kg pack either in barefoot or wearing Shamma sandals.
It would seem that I've overdone it as I am experiencing achilles tendon issues.
It's not sore as I walk but rather the foot and ankle in issue is rather stiff and immobile upon waking but quickly warms up as I move on it. If I sit back on my heels (as in seiza sitting posture) then it can feel uncomfortable.
I guess it's a matter of simply resting it at this point?
