Getting desperate at this point with the matchmaking. Solo'd to D2 and need a team who can capitalize on damage to get that wipe. I can play all the supports.
Max lvl, 5k hours in this game and I don't rage lol. I play aggressive but smart if we got the highground, zone etc.
I mostly play odd hours because of my nightwork and can't always use a mic. That's also the reason why I can't play with my regular squad.
Also PC players are welcome. New York servers are doable.

I'm trying to step up my comprehension skills, I can hold conversations in Japanese irl but I often have to guess at what's being said and/or ask for people to repeat themselves. In exams you can't ask them to repeat clips and you have to accurately follow the conversation.
Many people use movies, TV, etc to practice Japanese comprehension. I have some questions about how best to do that:
1) Do you watch something you already know well and focus on the exact wording/grammar, or watch something new and try to understand what is going on/being said?
2) Do you watch with Japanese subtitles, or no subtitles at all? (I don't think English will be helpful to me in this.)
I've watched my favourite movie (Titanic) in Japanese with Japanese subtitles and I understood it well, but frankly I think I just know the script by heart at this point lol. What makes a useful but enjoyable piece of media for listening practice?

I live in the US and am currently commissioning a fursuit maker who lives in Canada. Since the US just put a 25% tariff on products imported from Canada, I’m wondering if that tariff would apply to custom-made commission work like a fursuit. Since the suit is $4000, the tariff would be $1000. I’ve already made up my mind that this is the maker I want to work with because I love his style, but an extra $1000 is kinda outside my budget. Different people I’ve spoken to have different opinions on whether a fursuit would be tariffed. Do any of you know? Is there any way that I could officially write off the fursuit as an item that wouldn’t be tariffed (like considering it a “gift,” for example). If any of you all have any ideas about it, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

My dog was playing with my other dog and when she came inside we noticed her mouth was bleeding and she lost a tooth. We searched the yard and cannot find the tooth. I’ve inspected the area and we do not see any fragments of the tooth still in her gum.
This happened about 6 hours ago and she is no longer bleeding, has eaten and drank water since then, and doesn’t seem to be in any pain. There’s slight swelling at the injury (which I know that’s normal since there was trauma there), and we’re keeping an eye on it.
My predicament is that there are NO emergency vets near us. The closest one is an hour and a half away with a $205 walk in fee for all emergencies. My regular vets office opens at 8AM Monday (it’s currently 10PM Saturday).
She is 7 years old and a large breed dog. Any advice on how to care for this in the meantime? I read from a couple places that saltwater rinses were okay.

As a highly introspective and analytical client, one part of me wants to analyze, understand, predict, and control. Another part of me wants to feel emotional safety and comfort, lean in, fully embrace the therapeutic relationship, trust my therapist (she has earned it), trust the process, and trust that I’m doing the right thing.
There has been a constant clash between these two parts of me.
However, the part that wants to feel and trust is growing stronger—and I take that as progress. :)

 | Hi there, I have a 20 gallon long tank with 4 platys in it. A pair + their baby (female), and another female. For a long time, it was just the pair and their baby. Mama fish was prone to glass surfing a lot. Dad would follow her around but there was no attempt at more breeding, no chasing, no aggression that I observed. Then recently, I introduced another female. She is doing fine mostly. Baby is doing fine, dad is doing fine. But mama is like soooo stressed. She’s clamped worse than I’ve ever seen. She glass surfs quite a bit, maybe half of the time. I thought maybe the dad was being overbearing so I put him in a lay box. She is maybe 10% better now. She is the biggest fish in the tank also. Red circle is mama, black circle is dad, green circle is the new girl (pictured to demonstrate that the other fish are not clamped like mama) My plan right now is to introduce more females that are similar to mama’s size. Dad fish has 0 interest in the other female and I think the reason is that mama is bigger?? So if I add more big girls, his interest will be diluted, thus making mama feel less smothered? Thoughts? What could be stressing her so much? Is my plan a good idea? What do y’all think. I am less than a year into fishkeeping, so I don’t always know what to do.
