 | This is an anime sketch I’m doing in order to get signed by the VA later this month. It’s almost (not quite) done, but in the meantime I’m wondering if I should leave the background shading as is or go darker. My main concern is making sure the signature will show up. If I do go darker I would bring a white jelly roll pen which would show up okay, or I might have her sign over the demon forms hair in black which would also look pretty amazing.  | -Bit of background. Started playing CS2 last September 2024 after not playing an FPS (CS 1.6) for 18 years(life happened and sucked), played LAN back in the day at a Net Cafe for 4 years virtually 4+ days a week. I've been playing on an Omen 15 2017 Laptop with an external monitor that was handling everything like a dream, little did I know the fans were on their way out and as I started to get good at the game again my in game fps was dropping causing me to question everything I was doing. As the days went by my elo was plunging and I thought I was just getting worse while I was none the wiser that my Laptop was delaying my peeks/input by an insane amount. I've fixed the fan issue, making the game feel playable again and in Season 2 Premier I'm 14W - 7L currently. With all the posts people saying that different brands of clipper blades aren't all they are cracked up to be, I'm curious what's some of the off brand or low cost blade you have purchased that was better than expected?
I've seen people say they prefer off brand compared to Andis but they don't mention which blade and where they go them.

I don't know how to describe this but there was a graphic or title card for a show on a local Philly channel in the early 80s. I remember it being a candle? And the title was simply either BAZAAR or BIZARRE (I'm feeling the former). I think they showed old horror movies on weekend afternoons? It wasn't Saturday Night Dead, god bless Stella, but far simpler and creepier. Does anyone remember this? I associate it with watching tv in my aunt's basement in Springfield, as it should be. I can't find proof this ever existed. Thanks for your help, Philly!

Hi everyone, how do MSAFs work if you’re doing a group project? Does only one person submit the MSAF and the extension is applied to everyone?
Assume course syllabus doesn’t provide any specific information on MSAFs besides “you must make arrangements with the course instructor for an alternative deadline for missed work (typically 3 days past the deadline)”
Does this generally mean there will be no penalty incurred for all group members if only one group member submits an MSAF?

It hit FaceTime and had a pop up that said something along the lines of "you are entering a call with a blocked user" or something and the only option was okay. I never hit it. 2025.02.02 03:41 Ok-Bookkeeper-6284 Brother in hospital 2 weeks, surgery Monday, super nervous
My brothers left lung collapsed about 2 weeks ago, woke up one morning after being sick for a couple of days with chest pains and shortness of breath. They told him it would heal in a couple of days but every time they take him off suction it just collapses again. They tried putting some valves in but said the hole was too big for the valves to be effective. Monday they’re doing a thoracotomy and doing pleurodesis. Pretty frusturated that doctors took this long to realize the hole was so big. Anyone have some encouraging words for the procedure Monday? He’s 33M. They said he got Pneumonia and blisters on his lung but it took them a week to figure this out.

[technique]") | I am attempting the PF tek for the first time. I don't have a pressure cooker, so I steam my jars for two hours in a pot. The first time I sterilized, many of the jars cracked on the bottom and the substrate looked burnt. I inoculated them, but after a month it didn't seem like anything was happening. Some of the jars smelled funky when I sniffed through the holes of the lid. I wanted to sterilize my jars so that they could be reused for my next grow, so I steamed them again. This time, they got even more burnt, and the rubber on the underside of the lids melted, sealing them closed. What am I doing wrong? Is my temp too high? Too much or too little water at the bottom of the pot? Did I make my substrate incorrectly? I'm not sure. Maybe I added too little water to my substrate: I used less water than was called for in the recipe, but passed the squeeze test when I squeezed the verm.
