I’ve come to the realization that I’m going to be homeless in a few months and it’s all my fault. I’ve had so many opportunities and people offering to help me out of this situation and I pushed them all away to “run away” with a friend of mine that also has no money or prospects. He has some stuff lined up for him down the line but I’ve got nothing. I’ve been checking out homeless shelters where I live and they’re full too. I’m just realizing there were so many points that I could have stopped this from going so far but I didn’t. I always thought I’ll figure it out down the line but now reality is hitting and I’m just so mad at myself. My parents tried to warn me for years but I never listened. I didn’t want anything to do with them including their advice and now I’m suffering the consequences

Ordered the S25U from Samsung app along with a case and ear buds pro. I only received the case and the buds pro in the box. The packaging list states the phone should off been in there. So I called Samsung and they trying to give me the run around stating it might be stolen by the shipping carrier. They wanted me to report it to the police. I told them what should I say? SAMSUNG stole my phone? Because the box wasn't even tampered with and why only steal just the phone? They also wanted proof the box wasn't opened prior to opening it. Seem like they are only putting the blame elsewhere instead of helping me out. Anyone else have this issue?

Hey! Sorry if i could have posted this better, i never post on here. Having some weird issues i can't figure out, maybe one of you experienced the same thing.

Seemingly completely randomly my frames drop to under 10 and I can't seem to figure out why.
My specs are:
i5-7600K / 16gb / RTX4060 / 2tb nvme
VR specs:
Meta Quest 3
Quest Link (wireless) on dedicated 5ghz network
No other games experience this issue.
As seen in the video, the issue goes away immediately after leaving the online match. I can then join another game and be free of the issue for some time but it eventually comes back.
I have monitored my temps for both CPU and GPU and neither exceed recommended parameters.
I hope this covers everything! Please comment with any other questions, i appreciate any input!

Has anyone rigorously measured how paddle grit wear over time affects spin you can generate?
I know paddle reviewers have test setups for spin RPMs. Seems like you could just count games played or hours played and periodically test the spin RPMs.
I read some people claim that high level players tend to always replace after 3-6 months. I read other people claim that their spin is fine after over a year. With such an experiment we can put better numbers to these discussions. After, e.g., 40 hours of play is the spin 90% of stock? 80%? 70%? What is the shape of the drop-off?

2025.02.02 05:02 theamazingcricket How do you deal with the feeling of not saving enough every month when over half your compensation is in RSUs?
In 2024, my TC was a little over $400k and more than half of that was in RSUs (~175k base, $225k in RSUs). Every six months, once my RSUs hit my brokerage account, they stay there and aren't touched for the most part. While I know I'm saving more than half of my net income, the fact that I'm only seeing my principal "savings" grow every six months has been mentally discouraging.
In California, my $175k base translates to about $3,500 net every two weeks. I do max out my 401k and HSA as well. Despite this, I feel like I'm living paycheck-to-paycheck at times.
In general, my fixed monthly expenses are:
- $1.8k - rent/utilities/etc...
- $1.2k - helping out parents
- $600 - car payment
- $400 - gas (RTO 5 days a week and I only get 20 mpg on my truck)
- $200 - car insurance
- $400 - student loans
- $600 - DCA'ing into BTC and ETH (I guess this counts as saving?)
- $200 - gym (once you go to Equinox.. you can't go back)
- $400 - therapist (typically 2x a month)
- the other $1.5k-2k - food, groceries, travel, shopping, dating, etc...
As I'm writing all of this out, logically, I know I'm saving enough, but I guess I just need reassurance that I'm financially responsible even if my monthly savings rate of $0 makes me feel like I'm not saving at all.

- 28M working in tech
- $300k brokerage
- $40k Roth IRA
- $195k 401k
- $35k HSA
- $15k crypto
- NW: ~550k?

Let’s just cut to the chase - I’m a shifter. But that has nothing to do with this post. Now that’s out of the way, let’s move on to the hypnogogic “hallucinations” I’ve had lately;
- As I’m falling asleep, before I lose consciousness, they immediately begin. It was confusing for only a brief moment because I lay on my hand and suddenly it’s a dog licking my cheek. I open my eyes and awaken fully. I call the everyday waking state “Focus Level 1” in reference to the Gateway Tapes.
- As I’m waking up I have the most vivid hypnopompic “hallucination” I’ve ever had (unless false awakenings count but that I don’t know)
- To sum it up, it was an autumn forest scene on a beautiful sunny day. The distance was blurry, the focal point being a branch hanging over my head. I watched in awe, fully awake and aware, as the gold, red, orange, and yellow leaves moved in tune with the wind. It was shocking to me, it looked exactly like real life.
- During a nap today, as I lay there with my eyes closed, I suddenly see a golden patch of grass with a bunch of brown and yellow ducks eating and pecking at the grass.
- Nowadays, I have hypnogogic/hypnopompic “hallucinations” the second I close my eyes, especially if I’m already relaxed. Here are bunch more insignificant yet meaningful experiences for me;
- A house in a field of red and gold grass. Idk autumn and its colors are a HUGE source of nostalgia for me, I guess that’s why a lot of these are autumn related.

Hey all, I accidentally stumbled across this page and this was something I really needed. I just started my moon AD and can feel the intense mood fluctuations. I’m about to graduate and applying for jobs but no good signs yet. With moon being my 10th lord in the 10th house, astrologers are saying I should be getting one soon. I’m slowly starting to loose hope. I know it’s said to have little to no expectation in Ketu MD, but it’s a bit tough to not expect the basic needs.
