 | Bought my first gun (glock 19 Gen 5) a little over a year ago after wanting one for a long time. Bought the ar-15 the week before the 2024 presidential election (Smith and Wesson M&P Sport 3) after seeing how insane the right wingers and MAGAs are becoming. The glock 19 has about 1200 rounds through it, 100 of which were today. And put about 75 rounds down range with the AR today. The AR is very fun to shoot, and after I sighted my red (green) dot at 25 yards, I was able to hit pretty consistent groups. I am going to go to an outdoor range soon and sight my AR at 50 yards. Has very little recoil when shouldered properly. I can maintain good groups up to about 20 yards with the Glock on iron sights. Will probably get it optic cut for a Holosun of some sort. List of accessories: -Glock 19: TLR8A-G flashlight, otherwise stock -will get the glock optic cut for a holosun (hope the tariffs don't jack up prices too badly 😁) -S&W M&P Sport 3: Magpul DTPR stock, Magpul K2+ pistol grip, Magpul MS4 Gen 2 sling, Vortex Strikefire II red/green dot, Vortex 3x magnifier (micro flip mount) -going for a green and black theme for the AR -Looking to get a charging handle upgrade, flashlight, and front grip in the near future. Future guns: Looking to buy a Ruger 10/22 and a Mossberg 500 to cover all of my basics, and then I want to get a Canik (not sure which one) for a second handgun that will stay at home primarily. I traced it from a dangerous goods sign from work. So I live in Canada, and of course it can get pretty cold in the winter. I usually order a Hello Fresh box once a month, and it's happened the odd time that my box comes during particularly cold weather and the ingredients arrive frozen. Since I live alone I always get meals that I can freeze and eat leftovers later, so the veggies freezing are usually fine since I'm cooking them anyways. However, in my experience there's not much I can do with frozen potatoes. Now, the next few days are going to be very cold, and I have a bix coming on Monday. Unfortunately all the recipes I selected have potatoes in them. I'll be home when it arrives, but it'll become frozen on the truck since it comes from Edmonton, 4 hours away from me. Does anyone have suggestions on how to save my potatoes?

Hi!!
About 7 days ago was my first time skiing. I fell on my bum a couple of times and had some (outward) torsion in my knee which felt uncomfortable. (not sure if I heard anything as my mind was dealing with the adrenaline rush from the downhill slopes)
There is no visible swelling in the knee, but walking over >1 mile is uncomfortable which leads to me limping. Also - standing, sitting, or driving (with the knee partially bent) causes me to fell unstable and some pain the thigh. There is no excruciating pain but my right knee has a dull stinging and certainly doesn't feel natural.
I (like to believe I) have decent knee strength rode my bicycle about 600 miles in the summer of 2024 and with my gym routine.
I will most likely go to the ortho this week, but would someone give me some advice on what could be the cause?
p.s. I regularly have some soreness post workout/road biking, but they seem par for the course and are fixed by a good night's sleep.
