Hi Everyone, Hope your exam went well. I am not able to decide whether I should go for mtech in AI/ML I have around 4 yeo as a full stack developer. I am from ECE background, I am in my late 20s and feel like I have not accomplished anything in my life. Is doing Mtech worth it now? I have low grades in my graduation and I’m a 2019 passout. What is trump’s plan after freezing all the gender changes? Surely we won’t slip through the cracks as detransitioners. I worry about it for sure. Those who spoke publicly were for better or for worse used to further the right’s political agenda, now, as presidents do, he could easily just forget about them/us. It happens to military vets and I’m sure there’s other examples, Uncle Sam makes big promises and then just doesn’t pull through and the citizens are left holding the bag. Alright, I’m a little scared. Idk if that made sense, I’m probably catastrophizing here.

2025.02.02 04:50 Itex56 I have a few bumps like these in my rental along the first floor hallway and here in the kitchen. Should I be concerned that they seem to stretch across the room?
For extra context, my kitchen pipes did freeze last week but seemed to thaw with no issues (my landlord also didn’t seem worried about it) and my water pressure is normal. It couldn’t be a burst pipe, could it?

My lease is up April 25, according to the lease I am supposed to provide 60 days notice if I am moving out or not so I should have provided notice by January 25. Knowing this, I was working on a place to live, but things got gunked up, so I asked my landlord if I could get 7 extra days to provide notice. She said yes, and January 27 rolls around and I say I am not renewing the lease with her. She tells me I am on the hook for an additional $2 dollars because I did not tell her by January 25 (it was January 27 when I told her I was not renewing).
My question is as follows: my current daily rent is $80 per day and my new rent would have been $86 per day, how is $200 for 3 days insufficient notice calculated? The only wording in my lease is as follows: "Lease Term Expiration: You must provide us with a written notice of your intent to vacate at least 60 days prior to your moveout date. If you fail to give the required notice and move out anyway, you will be charged insufficient notice rent for the number of days your notice is short. The insufficient notice rent shall be charged at the per diem rental rate that is in effect on your move-out date." But there is nothing explicitly stating the daily rate expected.
