Hello, phinvest! Need some advice regarding what to do regarding electricity for a house I’m planning to build. My lot is in an underdeveloped part of a subdivision with no utilities yet (drainage, water pipes, electricity). The nearest connection based on the subdivision blueprints is 50m from my property. My engineer has already given me rough estimates for drainage and water pipes so we’re all set on that one.
My uncertainty right now is how to connect the electricity from the nearest meralco post, which is around 50m away from my property (a straight line). My engineer and I assume I will have to ask meralco to build additional posts. I’m trying to find how much that would cost per post but I couldn’t find any information. Any info on this one would be great!
Another concern is my internet connection. I’m planning to do PLDT but how exactly are they going to connect me? Do they need to use those Meralco posts as well?
If these costs exceed my budget, I’m planning to go full solar panels + starlink. But I’d prefer to go a more traditional route because I have someone to easily call when I need maintenance.
Anything I’m forgetting to consider? Any advice is highly appreciated 🙏

I’m looking for this book i read in 7th grade about an abused boy but everytime i look for it the only book that comes up is A child called It but i don’t recognize that title or the cover of the book at all but tbf i don’t remember much of the book im thinking of. Here’s what i remember, they explained in gruesome detail what the boys back looked like from being beat so much and i know there was a character named Robin, however i do not know if that character was a human or a pet😬. So yea if that terrible description rings a bell to anyone please let me know🙏🙏

we’re both in college, and I see him in the dining hall frequently, I would say. I went yesterday pretty late, knowing he tends to be there at that time as well. I was expecting to see him, and when I did I was totally filled with feelings of nervousness in my gut but also some satisfaction cause I wanted to see him, and I did, we walked right past each other.
for a while I’ve been thinking about talking to more, to build rapport and all that but I’m so caught up in the idea that our initial conversations won’t be good, or they won’t flow well. Beneath this of course I have my beliefs that agree with my manifestations of us being together, compatible, etc. But still, I want to talk with him! and know him! he’s quite introverted and the loner type.
in writing this I know it’s pretty silly yet I don’t know how to best deal with this line of thinking. I’ll always have the opportunity to talk to him so I don’t have to rush myself into it, but it’s been a bit over a month since I’ve said anything to him.
