I have so much to be thankful for today. I woke up feeling not so good, so I am thankful for the water I drank, the I ibuprofen I took, and the bath that relaxed my muscles. I’m thankful for my partner who suggested I add epsom salt but I only had Himalayan which did help a lot. The salt inspired candles which made it even better.
I am grateful that I could pay my rent today, and I am grateful for the takeout I had for lunch. I am grateful that my friend called me. I am grateful for my home and the food in my fridge. I am grateful for the love of my partner and the sunset outside my bedroom window. I am grateful for my bed and pillows. I am grateful I did not have work today, and that I do have work tomorrow.

I moved to the city and got a job at a starbucks, but now that I’ve moved out, it’s a 40 minute drive away from home. I have been managing but honestly it’s been difficult for me. I’ve tried reaching out to the new SM at my store near my home and first I asked for a permanent transfer but there was no room for me. I called and asked if I could possibly temporarily transfer (due to not being able to commute for a short time; my car got wrecked) she said she will check her schedule and I gave her my phone number and she never called me it’s been a few weeks. I also tried reaching out to another store near home but they are full. I am not sure what to do, because I don’t want to pester her. It just sucks because I’m the only barista who lives so far from my store, and it’s only because the stores near me have no room.

Como el titulo dice, no entiendo por que la mayoria de la gente solo acepta relaciones cerradas, teniendo en cuenta que:
Es natural fijarse en otras personas estando en pareja, si no, nadie más podría parecerte atractivo.
Hay muchísimos casos de infidelidades. Si vas a querer estar con otras personas, no pretendas que estas en contra de las relaciones abiertas.
Es ilógico que si tienes muchísimos recuerdos felices con una persona, y supuestamente es una de las personas más cercanas que tienes, decidir terminar todo por que decidió seguir un instinto natural.
Más allá de eso, por que la gente defiende la monogamia? Cual es la justificación de su existencia?
