I have a coworker who had the bug we all dread starting Monday this past week. We actually worked together Monday for about an hour and we all touch the same items. I did not contract anything and did not know about he was sick until today (Saturday) when we worked together. So he got sick Monday, felt better Thursday, but was still vomiting the day before on Wednesday. I worked with him all day and am a barista so again we touch the same things. I was RELIGIOUSLY washing my hands and even washed my phone and sanitized it. I tried my best to be aware of what I touched. I am so so worried that I can still get sick. I don't know if enough time has passed since he was last sick to be in the clear. I know I didn't contract it Monday and I was also not aware he was sick so the anxiety wasn't there for me and I was fine. I think it's just KNOWING he was ill and being around him all day that's really digging me into a hole right now.

I see a lot of people recommending some kind of padding, such as cork or rubberized cork, on vise jaws. I just completed a new workbench (Cosman style) with a Sjobergs vise. It seems to have plenty of holding power as-is. Would adding rubberized cork to the jaws be that much of an improvement?

recently while scrolling through specific subreddits, rather than just being on the homepage, I've been getting the same posts to appear. If I sort by new it'll show me probably around 30 posts, and then when I load more it'll show the same 30 posts it just showed rather than showing the 31st newest post. If I sort by top or best, or filter with flair it does the same thing. This makes it basically impossible to browse subs

29F, non-drinker, smoke weed only, 5’3 and slightly overweight.
I have had a sore in my nose for about a month now and it’s only getting bigger. It is hard and crusty. Not responsive to steroid cream. Last night it started bleeding a ton. It is constantly stuffy/running (just on one side). I experience facial numbness or tingling occasionally. I also have this pressure in my ear since mid December.
My GP is booking 2 months out so I don’t know what to think about this.

 | I’ve been doing gel nails fairly consistently for about 2 years now. I generally do a fill every 2-3 weeks. Sometimes I put sunscreen on my hands beforehand, and sometimes I forget. I recently noticed that my skin close to my fingertips is darker than the skin on the lower parts of my fingehands. Does anyone else experience this? Could it be skin aging/damage from using a UV/LED lamp? I have very fair skin and have only started being more cognizant about sunscreen on my hands in general in the last couple of years when I noticed my hands are showing signs of sun damage.
