My close friend just told me that she and her fiancé haven’t had sex in over a year (they’ve been together 3 years). She’s always been very sexual, and she tries initiating with him but he finds excuses to put it off. She finally confronted him about his total lack of interest in sex with her (I don’t think they ever had a very active sex life, even in the beginning of the relationship) and he got angry and said that he’s just not feeling it right now.
Other than this sex issue, they have fun together and have a good relationship, and I think he does love her…but she and I have tried to figure out what could cause this issue? It almost sounds like even HE doesn’t know. She’s mentioned a few times to me that she wonders if he’s gay, he’s from a very traditional/masculine culture and maybe he’s struggling with that.
I know the answer to this is that he needs to tell her what’s wrong, but a man saying no to sex with his fiancé for over year… could that really just be him going through a rough patch/dry spell? I feel so bad for her, she deserves more but honestly, we’re 40 and I think she thinks this is her “last shot” at keeping a guy which is so upsetting.

The only artsy music that I actively listen to is Neutral Milk Hotel, and even then I don't listen that much.
I usually prefer stuff that's more rocking if that makes sense. I can't get into to stuff like Black Country New Road or God Speed You Black Emperor. It just feels too smart and makes me feel dumb.
The stuff I like is Alice in Chains and Hole and Pearl Jam. I feel like such a moron. I don't even like stuff with real instrumentals. Like Alice in Chains just does basic riffs and solos according to a few people. I feel so lame for enjoying stuff that isn't intelligent. Like I'm such a moron.
I can't even get into Radiohead. Am I genuinely just a stupid listener? I get really into the stuff I like amd analyze it a lot so I'm not just listening for riffs or whatever (that is a big part) but I do pay attention. But I still feel like a moron.
