Hey everyone, I'm applying to college this cycle and would really appreciate some feedback on my personal statement. I’m looking for help with clarity, flow, and making sure my voice comes through. If anyone is willing to take a look, I’d be super grateful!
A couple of specific concerns:
- Does my essay feel engaging and personal?
- Are there any sections that seem unclear or repetitive?

Hey all, I accidentally stumbled across this page and this was something I really needed. I just started my moon AD and can feel the intense mood fluctuations. I’m about to graduate and applying for jobs but no good signs yet. With moon being my 10th lord in the 10th house, astrologers are saying I should be getting one soon. I’m slowly starting to loose hope. I know it’s said to have little to no expectation in Ketu MD, but it’s a bit tough to not expect the basic needs. [Side note: got into astrology at the start of MD, always been somewhat spiritual and started meditating recently, seems to be a bit helpful ]

Even if it's there, mostly they are fantasy based which I personally don't like. GTA series, Red dead have some great shooting elements but they are not exclusively dedicated shooters. Hitman is stealth oriented and lacks action. For the first person shooters, there is lot of options. i'm 18, 5 years ago i was involuntarily committed to a mental hospital, prohibiting me from possessing a gun. my mother's (now ex) boyfriend assaulted her yesterday and just got out of jail. my mother owns a gun and can legally use it, but i dont think she'd actually pull the trigger if she had to. in the event that he shows up to our home and breaks in, would i be legally able to use it? or would i have to use a knife/hope she actually fires?

 | I had a septoplasty, turb red, and concha bullosa revision on Oct 22nd 2024. During the surgery they found a septal perforation hiding underneath the mucosa membrane. It's now straight through and measures approx. 1cm tall and 1.5cm long and sits roughly 1.3cm from bottom of nostril opening and about 2cm from the very tip of my nose. My surgeon said there's nothing he can really do but it shouldn't cause any issues so long as it doesn't grow. The first picture is from 2016, it's the clearest one I have pre surgery. As you can see, I have a genetic dorsal hump so it looks as if my nose dips after the hump. After the surgery I can't tell if it got more exaggerated. Every septoplasty I've seen has a slightly upturned nose after and that's what I've been thinking as saddle nose is a collapse and my bridge is very sturdy still. 2nd picture is today (3 months post op) most of the swelling has gone away but I don't know if I should start looking into a rhinoplasty or other avenues. I have so much to be thankful for today. I woke up feeling not so good, so I am thankful for the water I drank, the I ibuprofen I took, and the bath that relaxed my muscles. I’m thankful for my partner who suggested I add epsom salt but I only had Himalayan which did help a lot. The salt inspired candles which made it even better.
I am grateful that I could pay my rent today, and I am grateful for the takeout I had for lunch. I am grateful that my friend called me. I am grateful for my home and the food in my fridge. I am grateful for the love of my partner and the sunset outside my bedroom window. I am grateful for my bed and pillows. I am grateful I did not have work today, and that I do have work tomorrow.
