For context : I fell down the stairs and cut my knee open about a week ago. My body has a hard time healing properly due to an over activation of mast cells from an autoimmune disease.
I haven’t had larger wound in a while and I’m not sure what steps to take from here. I’ve kept it covered with a thin layer of aquaphor since it happened. I think my only mistake was I accidentally kept the same bandaid on it for almost 2 days. Other than that I’ve cleaned it twice a day with soap and water.
Side note - I’m healing from a lung infection so I’m on a week’s worth of antibiotics starting yesterday.
Please don’t tell me to just go to the doctor - I’m not spending hundreds of dollars for this unless it’s an emergency.

So in my state, I get paid 15.25 an hour and I’m working at a store 40 minutes away from me. I was living in the city but I moved away and I have been commuting for the past few months. The only reason I am still at this store is because the stores near my home will not take me as they are completely full. Do you think the commute is worth it? I love working at Starbucks but I definitely don’t enjoy my new store as much.

 | হিসেব বলছে, আজ থেকে বসন্তের আসার কথা। সকালে সোফায় বসে জুতো পরতে পরতে আপন মনেই গেয়ে উঠেছি - "বসন্ত এসে গেছে...." সিঁড়ি দিয়ে উঠতে উঠতে দুধের থলে হাতে বসন্ত বলে ওঠে - "অজ্ঞে দাদাবাবু, এসে গেছি।" বসন্ত পঞ্চমী। অত্যন্ত গুরুত্পুর্ণ দিন বাঙালি দের জন্য। কিন্তু বসন্ত আর কোথায়, ইদানিং যা গরম পড়েছে! ছাত্রজীবনের ব্যাপারটাই আলাদা। আর সেই জীবনের সবচেয়ে বড় উৎসব - সরস্বতী পুজো। সময়ে সময়ে প্রায়োরিটি পাল্টেছে। পুজোটা এমন সময় পড়ে, তার ঠিক পরেই পরীক্ষা। ছোটবেলায় প্রধান আকর্ষণ ছিল এইদিন বই ছুঁতে হবে না। পরীক্ষার আসে পাশে এই প্রিভিলেজ কিন্তু চাড্ডি খানি কথা নয়। বরাবরই পড়াশোনায় এলেম ছিল। না পড়েই হেবি হেবি নাম্বার পেতাম। ISCEর সময় পুজোটার একটা আলাদা মাহাত্ম ছিল। আমি god fearing মানুষ কোনোদিনই ছিলাম না। কড়া নাস্তিকও নয়। আমি god loving মানুষ। ফাটাকেষ্টর ভাষায় - "আপনারা ভগবানকে ভয় পান, আর আমি ভগবানকে ভালবাসি।" তো বোর্ডের সময় মন থেকেই ঠাকুর কে ডেকেছিলাম। নাম্বার ও পেয়েছিলাম ভালো। তারপর ১১ তে গিয়ে যা হয়। পড়াশোনা গাঁ#* এ চলে গেল। ফলে ISCর সময় আবার পায়ে পড়ে গেলাম। এইসব বোর্ড পরীক্ষার সময় সব ছাত্র রাই বড় spiritual হয়ে পড়ে। ভালো লাগে। গ্র্যাজুয়েশনের সময়ে, CAT এ MAT e, রাস্তা ঘাটে, সরস্বতী কে দরকার পড়েছে বার বার। মা উৎরে দিয়েছেন। এখানে একটা ব্যাপার আছে। মা তো দুর্গা। হিসেব মতো সরস্বতী আমার দিদি হওয়ার কথা। কিন্তু "দিদির অনুপ্রেরণায় পরীক্ষায় পাশ করেছি" শুনতে কেমন বেআইনি লাগছে। প্রত্যেক শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে সরস্বতী পুজো করা উচিত - এই কথা টা আজকের দিনে বললে হয়তো জীবনমুখী বাঁহাতি রা আমার গাঁ# মেরে দেবে। কিন্তু মহারাষ্ট্রে পুজো হতো না। উড়িষ্যায় যখন পড়তাম, সেখানে হতো। খুব বড় করে হতো। অনেক সুন্দরি মেয়ে দের দেখা যেত। কলকাতা থেকে দূরে থাকার দুঃখটা এক নিমেষে উধাও হয়ে যেত। বাঙালি মনেই তো শিল্প (না, যেটা ভাবছেন... ভাববেন না)। শিল্পের দেবী সরস্বতীর impact ও হেবি আমাদের কাছে। বই খাতার সাথে, কীবোর্ড - গিটার... আমি তো আমার ক্যামেরা টাও মায়ের পায়ে রেখে দি। Student run যেকোনো বিষয়তেই একটা thrill আছে। আর এ তো তাও পুজো। এই এক দিনে বয়েস স্কুল ও গার্লস স্কুলের ছেলেপিলেরা চোখে চোখে মুখে মুখে কথা বলার সুযোগ পেত। হলুদ পাঞ্জাবী, হলুদ শাড়ি, সাদা শিউলি... আমরাও কলেজে ভোর ৬ টায় উঠে ফুল চুরি করতে যেতাম। এইরকম পরিবেশে আবহাওয়ায় প্রেম কেনো হবে না বলুন তো। এই জাহ্ ! শালা আজকাল যাই লিখছি, ঘুরে ফিরে কিভাবে যে প্রেম চলে আসছে। যাকগে, মনে আছে... ১১ তে পড়ার সময় - তখন প্রেম মগ্ন... সরস্বতী পুজোর দিন মেয়েটিকে বাড়িতে নিমন্ত্রণ করেছিলাম। চোখই সরাতে পারিনি সারাদিন। ব্যাডমিন্টন খেলে আড্ডা মেরে একটা দুর্দান্ত পুজো কেটেছিল। ঠাকুর কে বলেছিলাম, আঃ ভাগ্যিস তুমি ছিলে। পরে সে প্রেম গেলো পালিয়ে - কিন্তু সবার জীবনেই পুজোর দিন এই ছোট ছোট গল্প গুলো অনেক বড় বড় আনন্দ দিয়ে গেছে। এখন হ্যাশট্যাগ এর যুগে হতাশা আশা খুব সহজ। কুল খেয়ে আর cool হওয়া যায় না। বেল পাতায় আর বেলা বোস কে খুঁজে পাওয়া যায় না। বামুনও এখন casual leave নেয়। প্রেমিকার চুলে আর অঞ্জলীর ফুলের পাপড়ি খুঁজে পাওয়া যায় না। থেকে যায় সরস্বতীর শুভ্র বর্ন, শুভ্র বেশ। সমস্ত রং একসাথে মিশলেই কিনা সাদা হয়! আমার এখন আর সরস্বতীর বয়স নেই। এখন লক্ষ্মীর বয়স। জীবনেও এবং পকেটেও। তাও এইদিন নিজেকে অনেক জোয়ান মনে হয়। চারিদিকে কমবয়েসী energy, সুন্দর এবং সুন্দরি, তেলে ময়দার আলতো ছোঁয়ায় মিষ্টি গন্ধ - আঃ নাহ্ যাই স্নান টা করে আসি। একটু পরেই মন্ত্র বলতে হবে - "ওঁ জয়জয় দেবী চরাচর সারে, কুচযুগশোভিত মুক্তাহারে...." সবাইকে বসন্ত পঞ্চমীর অনেক শুভেচ্ছা। submitted by ByomkeshB to kolkata [link] [comments] |
2025.02.02 05:57 TheSuppishOne Emby/Jellyfin are unable to “Identify” media when the Docker is installed with Tailscale.
Not really much to my thread beyond the title. I was super confused why Jellyfin wasn’t working until I switched to Emby (only the $5 for this month as a test), and discovered that Emby had the same issue. If I enable “Use Tailscale” in unRAID while setting up the Docker (because obviously I want to be able to pass the media program through Tailscale), it works mostly fine, but if I try to click a movie/show in my library and “Identify” it, the metadata databases simply won’t load. This is a pretty awesome feature that I’m unwilling to miss out on, so Tailscale was removed. Would sure love a fix for it, though!

Also who in your opinion is a better person, someone who is a ter*rist but devout, or one who is a kafir but does good onto others, charity, is peaceful and provides for his family.

So basically I'm trying to make a character and everytime I try to make it, CAI hits me with "sorry, something went wrong." I tried making a separate test bot and that one worked, so I've come to the conclusion something is wrong with my bot's description. But idk what is wrong with it? I could take a few guesses but idk, I don't want to leave important info out thinking CAI is against it when actually that's not the problem. So anyways, here's the description I made for this character.
Tina, formerly Adam, is a 17-year-old autistic transgender girl living in a Massachusetts psychiatric hospital. With a history of violent bullying, loneliness, institutionalization & staff neglect, she's often tired, manic, exaggerated & sometimes violent to others, getting irritated easily & often trying to run away. She likes bugs & rats & believes she's a queen ant in charge of all bugs. She often feels unwell to the point of puking & doesn't get along with most people around her.
I tried getting rid of the mental hospital and institutionalization bits to see if that was the issue but even then CAI wouldn't let me create this character. I'm confused on what else CAI could be having an issue with this character for. The word "violent" or "manic?" I'm just confused.
