 | Whats up everyone, Long time lurker, first time poster. I have been a machinist for a long time I program and make a bunch of my own parts in my free time. Recently got a prusa MK3S so I am new to 3D printing. I made a knob to go into my tacoma and the print looks like ass. I feel like although I am just beginning with picking print parameters, I am seeing that a well designed solid model is really going to have a LARGE impact when deciding print parameters. My question is for the people who are proficient with make their own solid models. 2025.02.02 05:50 waterloograd How should I support my LGS while avoiding American products like MTG?
I live in Canada, and because of trump I am trying to reduce how much money I spend that goes to the US. At the same time, I want to support my LGS. What are some of my best options for MTG?
My main two ideas:
- buy older product instead of newer product. If i buy some Aetherdrift, that means they will likely order more. If I buy ONE, they likely won't be ordering any more, if they even can.
- buy singles, since they are mainly local

I’m on my umpteenth rewatch and I’m in the middle of season 10 and I’m sad to say but watching as an adult, Im losing more and more respect for Christina. She is so obsessed with Owen, its ruining her character for me. The fact that she stayed with him at all after he screamed “you killed our baby” at a childs birthday party is asinine. And then she thinks SHE did something wrong by having the abortion and basically grovels for his forgiveness. For a female surgeon whose supposed to be as “badass” as Christina usually is, to have a fucking pro life DOCTOR bf is so embarrassing. THEN HE CHEATS ON HIS WIFE WEEKS BEFORE THE MOST IMPORTANT EXAM OF HER ENTIRE LIFE AND SHE STAYS WITH HIM!!!! I understand the plane crash makes things 100x more complicated and makes cheating seem like no big deal in the grand scheme of life but idk man. When she locked herself in the bathroom and was like “i should be studying for my boards but instead im stuck in the bathroom crying because of a boy”, your like, okay she gets it phew, but then for her to just completely forget about it is a little outrageous to me. But i can give her a little grace cause of all the trama yada yada BUT THEN. They finally get divorced for good, Owen moves on with that Emma lady… AND CRISTINA SLEEPS WITH HIM WHILE HE HAS A GF!!!! GIRL WHAT!!!!!!! And then she has the AUDACITY to be surprised and ask “what why?” when Mer tells her that Hunt and Emma broke up?? maybe its just cause im watching this while america descends into fascism bc of ppl like Owen so I’m extra ticked off by the mere sight of him but watching someone so intelligent and strong become so blindsided and foolish by that thing is incredibly disappointing. okay rant over sorry plz dont crucify me too much idk what the vibes are on this sub for criticizing fan favorites 💀

2025.02.02 05:50 cosmicgyal Can't tell if I am experiencing the Winter Blues or just in a funk
I am turning 27 soon, and so far I am super proud of where I am. Finished with school, have a stable job and my own place. I don't have any short term goals at the moment, I do hope to become a more senior position at work in the future and maybe buy my own apartment/condo or a house, whichever I feel when that time comes. I have a few hangouts planned and a vacation coming up soon. Everything feels serene and I just let the day go by. I do work out. That's really about it. I paused dating bc as we all know how much dating sucks rn lol.
Now I feel uninspired and not sure what to look forward to? I mean I am grateful I don't have a whole lot of drama going on, just bored I guess?
Any of you ladies experienced this and how did you get out of it?
Might consider taking social media seriously? I feel like I have good tips to share.

 | Did anyone else catch Jesse saying his mental & physical health have basically been in the gutter lately because they never cook anymore, order takeout 24/7, he hasn’t been to the gym in months, but then 5 hours later he’s on snapchat eating delivered food consisting of fried potatoes, eggs benedict, nutella pancakes with syrup etc. Him and Franny are literal walking hypocrites, I swear they say one thing to make themselves sound look/good but then carry out the exact opposite of that. Hi, im worry if this is kinda dumb…
I’m working on my first real mobile game, and I just realized I made a mistake—I built the entire game inside the Canvas UI. Since everything was UI-based, making it responsive was easy because I just used anchors.
However, I now believe it would be better (and the right approach) to move the game outside the UI. The problem is, I’m not sure how to make it responsive in this new setup.
How do you typically handle responsiveness? Do you do it through code or just via the Inspector?

Rosa Parks protested by sitting down.
BLM, 2020, were almost daily protests because people had time.
Organize locally. Protest as much as you can! Buy as little as you can. Use tech as minimally as possible.
Keep going! This is not a one day sprint. This is a very long marathon. It started before the US was founded, the fight for equality continues.

2025.02.02 05:50 RecklessDino HELP With Forgotton Monotub & When to Harvest?
Newbie here! This is my first grow and honestly I spawned it to bulk in a monotub and left it on the floor for weeks with plans to throw it out and start over. I looked down yesterday night and noticed there were little shroom babies inside! Unfortunately I got a bit mixed up during inoculation but this was labeled as either P.E. #6 or Albino A+; Not sure which one this is though! Now I'm determined to try fixing anything I can, harvesting, and trying a second flush lol.
My questions are - Firstly, when should I harvest? (Considering this is either Albino A+ or P.E. #6) Today I noticed the veil of one of the larger one's break. Is this what I'm looking for? And is there a such thing as harvesting too early? I was planning to harvest them all at once, including the babies, to prepare for a second flush.
Secondly, I'm almost certain the substrate is dried out and the monotub has had all but one plug on it which I believe is also causing the fuzziness on the stems. I swapped in the filter discs today but should I also mist the tub or try wetting the substrate or leave it as is? Thanks for all the help saving my forgotten project!

2025.02.02 05:50 wretched92425 This game is fucking beautiful and has become one of my all time favorites.
Wanna start off by saying this was my first souls game but i just finished my first ng+ playthrough this morning after rushing through my first playthrough to experience the main story. This time i took the time to explore all the map and look a few things up and where to find a few characters for more quests and after going through both the base game and dlc again and beating every major boss and just exploring the lands between and the shadow lands and everything else, I'm just absolutely crazy about this game and these characters now. Miyazaki and George Martin created this world and these compelling characters and stories and I'm just in love with it and even after putting almost 200 hours in, I don't think I've even gotten through half of the quests or bosses yet and that's just insane to me.
Anyways, just wanted to post how much I've enjoyed playing this game somewhere as well as get some advice from some veterans on some cool stuff I should go do that I might not know about yet! I want ALL the cool obscure quests. I pretty much did them all for the dlc already but have only really done Millicents' quest and parts of Rannis' quest so far.
