So I just did my tax return with freetaxusa and my federal refund is $17. A lot lower than previous years but that's fine. I understand that the less money you get back the better because you're essentially just loaning money to the government for free if you get a lot in refund.
But here's the kicker. I didn't want to pay $19 to file for state so I went to cashapp thinking I can file state separately. Enter the same info I did for freetaxusa and it said the IRS owe me over $2000 because I paid over $9000 in college tuition. Kinda odd because freetaxusa said I didn't qualified for the education credit. $2000 and $17 is quite the difference and I already submitted for federal tax.
So my questions is who is right? And if Cashapp is correct is there anyway to fix this? Do I just wait for the IRS to accept or reject my return before I can amend it? If they accepted it can I even amend it or file again with cashapp?

I have a girlfriend, and she's wonderful and supportive, but we've both agreed that we are going to break up when I move away for college later this year. I only recently realized that I want to be a femboy (like less than a month ago), and so I am really not sure how you would organically, maybe even subtly bring up being a femboy with a girl you're interested in (I don't go out dressed femme), because I would hate to start dating someone only for them to be like "ew, no" as soon as they found out I was a femboy. I think this would be less of a problem if I was gay, but I'm not, so oh well.

So, my wife got a Great Pyrenees 6 years ago (before we were together), and now we’re married, have two dogs, a baby, and another on the way. She’s in medical residency, so we’ve moved to a few different places for her job, and with each new move, the barking has become more of a challenge.
We’ve now been kicked out of an apartment (which we expected) and then had an elderly neighbor complain that our dog was “ruining her last years” because of the constant barking. We tried everything—she only goes outside for 5 minutes, 3 times a day because of the neighbors complaining, but she still barks non-stop while inside. Now, we’re in a bigger house with a bigger yard and walk her every day, but the barking still happens—about 8 hours of every 12 she’s awake.
I know a lot of it is just in the breed’s nature, but the noise is becoming unbearable, especially with a baby and another on the way. We’ve talked about trying training, but every Great Pyrenees owner I've spoken to says it’s nearly impossible to train this out of them. I’ve trained my Golden Retriever to do all sorts of things—he fetches beers from the fridge, walks off-leash, has perfect recall—but this breed is a different challenge.
I’ve also spoken to a professional dog trainer who agreed that the Pyrenees needs a “job” to focus on, but buying a farm to let her protect livestock is not exactly in the cards. I know my wife loves this dog (and so do I), but it’s getting to the point where we really need a solution.
I’m considering trying a bark collar—one that’s effective but not overly harsh. I know it’s controversial, but I’m hoping it’ll at least help bring the barking down to a manageable level.
Has anyone else been in this situation with a Great Pyrenees or similar breeds? What did you do to make it more livable?
I really want to find a balance that works for the dog, my wife, our family, and our sanity! Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!
