Hi everyone, I’m currently trying to decide between two master’s programs and would love to hear your advice!
I have been admitted to Northeastern University (NEU) MSCS Align and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) MCS. My background is in design, and I have six years of experience as a UX designer, mainly in healthcare and AI. Now, I’m transitioning to computer science with the goal of integrating AI and HCI to create better healthcare technology solutions.
My thoughts on both schools:

  1. NEU MSCS Align (Oakland Campus)
  2. I really like NEU’s Align program since it’s very friendly for career changers.NEU has strong CS resources and industry connections, and the Co-op program is a big plus.However, I was only admitted to the Oakland campus, and I don’t know much about it:How does the program quality compare to other NEU campuses?How good is the career support at the Oakland campus? Does it help with job searching?Safety concerns: I’ve read a lot about crime and safety issues in Oakland. Is it really that bad?

  4. WPI is more affordable than NEU, making it a cost-effective choice.I have a good impression of WPI, and the program seems solid.However, WPI is ranked lower than NEU. Would this affect job prospects?

15 DPO vs 23 DPO Hi, should I be cautious?
Took 2 clear blue digital today at 23 DPO (I have a lot of tests left so might as well) and became a bit nervous when it said 2-3 weeks since I ovulated a bit over 3 weeks and got the same result over a week ago at 15 DPO..
Lines on cheapies have increased but apparently these clear blue are the most accurate.. but still no dye stealers and lines dark as control lines
Im 5+1 and ordering blood work and betas are not done in my country which I know would be the best

I randomly saw on a Bracco FB page people - mostly the breeder who manages the page- talking about bloat and saying Broccos should get an elective surgery the prevents twisted stomach.
Not gonna lie - I totally forgot that bloat was a thing for large breed dogs because our last pup was a small breed.
Wondering if Braccos normally get this surgery? I’ll talk with our vet - our guy is a puppy so it would be something we’d do when he gets neutered.

I am extremely concerned about my friend, and I am reaching out to the Reddit brainchild for help.
I have been friends with Bruce for 25 years. Typical biker looking guy. 510, long hair, long facial hair. About 280lbs. Objectively he can look scary if you didn't know him… But he is a gentle soul.
Has always been a little eccentric, but you know, you do you.
He lives alone, aside from the goldfish I gave him last year for Christmas. He has three long distance friends and one uncle that he speaks to regularly. Other than that, he is pretty recluse. No job. He essentially retired after Covid and his parents passed away and left him a little money. He owns a house and a car.
10 days before Christmas his uncle called for a wellness check on him. They baker acted him. I was the only person with permission to talk to the hospital about his condition. They put him on meds, and after two days said he was better. I beg them to keep him a couple more days to ensure the medication was going to work right. I also begged them to give him a "long term" (monthly shot).... versus them sending him home with the prescription because I knew he would not take the meds. They released him.
I was able to convince him to drive the four hours to my house to spend Christmas day and the following day with me and my family. He seemed like he was in decent shape. After that communication became spotty.
This past Sunday, he sent me some really weird text. I tried calling and texting with no reply. Finally, I called so many times repeatedly that he answered. He was crying so hard I could not make out what he was saying. I called the police for a wellness check. Explained the situation and how he was just released less than two weeks ago. They said they could not do anything and they left.
I haven't heard from him since.
He text his uncle on Wednesday and stated that he was in a hotel because he didn't feel safe in his house. that he might drive up to see his uncle, but was afraid of what might happen if he did that.... Because he felt like the police were after him.
No one has heard from him since Wednesday.
He is obviously going through a mental health issue.
Where do I go from here?
He posted anything on Facebook since December And used to be very active on it.
I think his uncle and I report him as missing tomorrow.
I have a physical key to his house… But he also has alarms systems, so I don't think there's any way I can go into the house, without setting off the alarms.
Aside from calling every single hospital across three states… Is there any other way to find out if someone is hospitalized?
When his uncle and I report him missing, what should I be asking the police? Is there a way for them to broadcast his description and ask for a bolo?
I don't know what Phone subscriber he belongs to… Nor do I know of a specific credit card he uses so I can check for activity.
Please Reddit, any suggestions you can give me would be much appreciated right now. I am worried for my friend.
