I’ve been seeing a lot of anti black post on this sub recently from the black community. I’ve had my run ins with racism throughout media and just living as a black man, but I’m so proud of my ethnicity. I’m glad of the people who came before me like king, Malcom X, Ruby Bridges, Marcus Garvey, Fredy Hampton, the blank planter party, my parents and so on. Yeah we have weirdos, but what race doesn’t as far as I know there’s so many Black Woman and Men carving their way to success inspirte of what’s going on and I know we’re going to invest back into the community for the next generation.
I still believe in the old definition of women before the right tried to take it over for their own. I remember back when woke use to men being aware of your circumstances as a Black American in society.

Hey everyone,
I’m working on a school project where I need to build a mock version of an Apple AirTag—something that can be tracked via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and possibly play a sound when located. I don’t need it to integrate with Apple’s Find My network, but I do want to make it as compact and functional as possible.
I’m looking for advice on the best parts to use for this. Right now, my rough plan is: Microcontroller – ESP32 or nRF52832 (which is better for low power + BLE?) Battery – Coin cell (CR2032) or LiPo (but worried about size & longevity) Buzzer – To make a sound when triggered via BLE Enclosure – Ideally something small, but open to ideas Other sensors/components? (Not sure if I’m missing anything crucial)
Main Questions: 1️. Which microcontroller is the best balance of size, power efficiency, and BLE capabilities? 2️. Battery choice: What’s the most power-efficient way to keep this running for a long time? 3️. Any must-have components I might be overlooking? 4️. How small can I realistically make this while keeping it functional?
If anyone has experience working with BLE devices, beacons, or compact hardware builds, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance.

My boyfriend needed to watch Frozen for a school project and he wanted to watch it with me. My sister was home as well and we couldn’t watch it at his house as he didn’t have the movie. When we turn the movie on I turn all the lights off and sit down but that’s when my sister freaks out. He didn’t want all the lights off. She had never had this problem before. I ask her why and she said it was “weird” to have them off. The lights she ended up turning on were not the normal ones we kept on during movies but ones so bright it reflected on the TV. I was upset and I did not want the lights on. We argued a bit and my boyfriend was trying to find a middle ground. That’s when it started to feel like he was on her side and not mine. It hurt. He leaned over to say: “I think she’s a little grumpy” and laughed with my sister about it. That hurt so much I was going to cry. That’s when I decided to go upstairs I expected for my boyfriend to follow me, but he didn’t. I texted him over and over again about how I hurt. My feelings were and he decided to tell me to talk about this later. I told him we didn’t have a later he decided that he did and proceeded to watch the movie with my sister, which are more halfway through the movie he comes up and expects me to talk to him. I ignore him for about half an hour before he makes me talk to him. He tried to convince me to come downstairs, but I’m just so hurt I don’t and he goes to finish the movie After the movie is over. He finally came to talk to me and blamed me for going upstairs. I don’t think I was in the wrong here. My feelings were hurt so bad.
