I’m a graduate student in a Clinical/Counseling Psychology program, and for my thesis, I wanted to bring faith into my academic journey. In most school settings, God isn’t really discussed, but I knew I wanted to make Him a part of whatever I did. That led me to research how adult baptism impacts self-identity, emotional well-being, and religious commitment.
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is finding Christian participants. It’s been tough recruiting people who meet the criteria, so I’m reaching out here in hopes of connecting with those who have been baptized as adults.
If you’re 18 or older and were baptized as an adult, I’d love for you to take my short survey (about 10–15 minutes). Your responses will contribute to a better understanding of how baptism shapes a believer’s journey beyond the moment itself.

so if i trained legs at 2pm, and the next evening went out to dinner w my husband & father, indulged in two vodka seltzers at peak soreness at about 7:30pm (29 hours later) - how much am i really hindering muscle growth ?
not a regular drinker, only a dabbler socially . but always a hard trainer . i'm also a woman . i've read that the window is within approximately 24-72 hours post workout that alcohol impacts protein synthesis the most . but women significantly less . so from what i've gathered - i probably very little, if any at all, affected my recovery .
my protein is high & macros were met . i did not exceed calorie intake . i drank two full glasses of water with dinner .

I'm trying to get some advice and guideline like what am I supposed to work on my first and what is more important because I have like bunch of things i really want to finish but I seem to procrastinate because of confusion fear and shame.
Thing is ever my dad passed away, my family members are putting expatiation on me to be breadwinner. And we want to move another state because there is lack of employment opportunities and living cost is increasing and bunch of interpersonal family relatives problems. But I have my personal goals that I've been avoiding facing like I really want to learn driving so I can be independent. I want to go back to college and start classes however I'm unsure what programs to consider. And I have no job for three years so being at home for this many years is kinda making me feel irritated and overwhelmed. But it's this anxiety and self doubts that seem to control me.
