Hey, I’m after getting my bike license, I’ve read a couple of guides but still a little confused. I’m 35, had a car license since I was 17 (it’s uk tho need to change it first), I’ve ridden bikes before, not on the road tho.
How do I go about getting a license? I under stand the first bit, theory then IBT, but after that do I ride a 125 for a while on L plates until I do a practical test? And can do a test for a full license or do I need to go up through the ranks? I don’t mind riding a 125 for while, maybe like a year and then after that I’m only wanting a 400.

Hey all My wife and I are taking our oldest daughter (10) to Japan in September. We have zero experience with travelling to anywhere in Asia so I'm looking for advice on anything and everything. Were there for two weeks few highlights we want to hit are the studio Ghibli Park, cat island, Sanrio Puroland, maybe Disneyland and my wife is interested in seeing some sumo wrestling I want to geek out in Akihabara. The main things I want to be all over is having a working phone whilst there and navigating the public transport and what is needed I've seen mentions of a certain card for the train. We booked the flights spontaneously a couple of days ago when Jetstar were offering free return. Do you have any other recommendations for family friendly activities. Thankyou

2025.02.02 06:51 Unlikely-Solid3405 21M Severe GERD (DeMeester score 296), nonstop globus sensation for 4+ years. Gastroparesis (T/2 320 minutes), Oesophageal immobility (100% failed swallows), Serum IGE levels 3800+
First paragraph is a summary, and following the paragraph is my 4 year story.
Hi. Jan 2025 I’m 21M. I got a nonstop 4 year old Globus sensation that wakes me up in the middle of the night from choking, chronic throat clearing, and severe situational and general anxiety from it. I got gastroparesis (half emptying time of 320 minutes, meaning it takes 320 minutes for 50% of the food to get digested which is considered severe), severe GERD (Deemester score 296, Idk anyone online with a higher score than that, 499 episodes of reflux), oesophageal immotility (100% failed swallows, and just the diagnosis of ineffective oesophageal motility), and also a previous serum IGE result of 3800+. Just got an half anterior fundoplication in 2025 Jan 10th, and I’m not sure what I could possibly do if this doesn’t help fix my globus sensation (Gastric pace maker maybe for the gastroparesis? Pyloroplasty? I also saw the ablation of cervical inlet patch?) Onwards is my full story and previous diagnosis’s and treatments that haven’t worked.
2020 Jan I went to the philippines and got extremely sick for maybe 3 days, (possibly from COVID, or some viral infection). After the 3 days, I got this globus sensation and a feeling of mucus in the back of my throat. Constant bloating started to occur as well. I stupidly ignored it for about a year as I was getting by.
2021 June I got a colonoscopy and nothing looked wrong, so the doctor suspected Acid reflux. Put me on PPI’s and said I should be fine. Nothing happened for my globus. Maybe august/September 2021 onwards, symptoms exponentially got worse as I started to reguritate almost every single day and constantly gag up until maybe 2022 April, and became severely depressed and anxious because of it. Scratching my body to cause pain to distract from the globus sensation and constant vomiting was one terrible way I started to cope, alongside a little bit of alcohol, and an eventual diazepam prescription. I also lost a lot of weight as I pretty much gave up on eating food for a bit. Reading books + a counsellor eventually saved me from all those bad habits. 2021 Sep I saw an ENT specialist, I had clogged sinus’s and I got a FESS surgery. Recovered and I still felt the globus after doing the sinus rinse and montelukast. I went back to him in December, complained, he pretty much laughed at me and offered me a tonsillectomy. December I was also put on diazepam from my GP as he thought it was anxiety related. Jan 2022 I got the Tonsillectomy and also had my diazepam taken away from me, causing withdrawal. Tonsillectomy did nothing for my globus sensation.
2022 march I did a blood test that showed serum IGE levels of 3800. I saw an immunologist and I started immunotherapy + antihistamines at around may/June. I was patient for months, but it did nothing. Around 2022 I also did barium swallows, some other tests, and another endoscopy, and they saw nothing pretty much. 2022 October I was diagnosed by a psychiatrist as autistic, ADHD, OCD, depression and somatic disorder. I was not coping well with my physical illness that no doctor seemed to be able to fix, and each doctor after the follow ups told me that it’s probably anxiety. I was put on lexapro, and stayed on it for a year and a half, kept seeing a counsellor. Things started to get better.
2023 November ish, I was getting extremely impatient as things got worse again, I lost faith in the immunotherapy, and the globus sensation never truly went away. I saw another ENT surgeon and he got me to do a scintigraphy study as my sinus’s looked just fine. It showed severe reflux. I went to a Gastroenterologist in Feb 2024 with those results and he said a scintigraphy study isn’t reliable, and he did an endoscopy and said no you don’t have reflux, you have anxiety and showed me some breathing techniques. I went back to another ENT surgeon in May 2024 thinking it wasn’t GERD, the ENT surgeon said well it isn’t post nasal drip, you have to live with this and go seek mental health. I saw another ENT specialist that month and he told me laryngeal sensory neuropathy. This sounded promising and seemed to make sense, so I got on the amitriptyline and gabapentin and did the botox and numbing shots to the laryngeal nerve. Did this for maybe 3-4 months and nothing improved. Also saw a neurologist during that time, and was told functional neurological disorder, and it’s most likely from some kind of stress + underlying condition that doctors don't know about. Had arguments with my counsellor as she started to get frustrated with me trying to go to all these doctors, as she truly believed I was just an anxious person with nothing wrong with me physically. I eventually saw a clinical psychologist who I got along with.
August 2024 and I saw a GI surgeon, who gave me a gastric emptying study + a oesophageal manometry. I had a half emptying time of 320 minutes, which is extremely delayed, and also I got pretty much an immotile oesophagus. I was very pleased with this result as I thought I found the answer and he put me on erythromycin to see if that did anything. He went on holiday for like 2 months and I saw him again and I told him nothing helped. He then said some really confusing things about how my esophagus isn’t actually immotile, and my gastric emptying isn’t that bad, and I don’t have gastroparesis as the gastroparesis diagnosis are for people who are always hospitalised, and he believes I’m actually just really really anxious and that’s causing the globus sensation, not the GERD. I couldn’t believe it, and I started arguing about it to him and he sent me to another doctor that turns out he doesn’t even practice, just lecturers at universities, and the GI surgeon stopped responding to any of my emails. I put myself on a motilium for the delayed gastric emptying.
In NovembeDecember 2024 and I saw another GI surgeon, who redid the oesophageal manometry test and also did a 24 hour Ph test, and I got 100% failed swallows, 499 episodes of acid reflux, and a Demeester score of 296 which was the highest he has ever seen in his career, and looked at my gastric emptying test and said I definitely have gastroparesis. He gave me a half anterior fundoplication in Jan 2025, and as of 2nd February I still have globus sensation, but I understand that I could just possibly need to be patient and wait out the recovery period. If this doesn’t work, then I have NO IDEA what else I can do. This globus sensation has ruined a lot of my confidence, I have severe bloating, constantly clearing my throat, I wake up in the middle of the night choking on my phlegm, and pretty bad situational/general anxiety from this fear of me throwing up at any moment, or gaging. Philsophy, books, healthy habits and psychology appointments have been keeping me afloat mentally, but it is still no doubt frustrating. Back to the original question: What else can I do for my globus sensation, if any?

I'm playing a necromancer who typically drags around about six zombies and skeletons. They are usually used to make six attack rolls in combat.
I want to enhance them even further, and my GM is planning to give me a rare magic item. Which one should I choose?
At first, it was the Enspelled Staff (animated dead). However, since I already have Night Caller, I don't lack spell slots for animated dead. Besides, having an even larger zombie army might disrupt the campaign.
Next, it was the Enspelled Staff (mass healing word). Mass healing word restores roughly 60 hp to injured creatures (I have the Healer feat). However, the problem is that it heals "injured creatures" rather than enhancing them. It seems more beneficial to simply recreate the zombies when they die.
The third option is the Enspelled Staff (Aid). Although it only heals 30 hp—which is half of what mass healing word provides—it also increases their maximum hit points. In that respect, it can be considered an enhancement.
Lastly, there's the Enspelled Staff (Flame Arrows). I know this spell isn't great, but if six skeletons can shoot arrows that deal an additional 1d6 damage over two rounds, I haven't found any magic item or spell that enhances undead minions any more effectively.

 | Does anyone know how to prevent my save data being corrupted and how to get rid of the corruption coming back to new saves, I'm on ps5 and recently been trying to play but my game crashes when I try to save it and after being near my base for too long, this didn't happen before and probably occurred with the corruption, so does anyone know how to fix the corruption or at least prevent it. Hello All, I’ve just finished Gotham Yesterday and oh my absolute days. This has been the most halarious, sad, interesting, intense and entertaining series i’ve ever seen. This tops all by far.
What is everyones opinions on Gotham and the final season finale? Who is your favorite character villain and worst? Mine personally is Alfred and Zsasz. Too obvious to say Gordon isn’t it and Zsasz is too funny but a great assasin also.
I do have one question which is been on my mind all day and night. After seeing the last episode the batman suit looks alot like a cheap rip off dark knight suit, I was hyped seeing this as i heard humour gotham couldn’t get permission for Joker and Batman. I had to watch Batman begins straight after which ended up being right now. I’ve been up all night working about the timelines of ages of batman, alfred, robins, etc in all live action batman films excluding the flash and justice league ones. I have found a tiny issue with carmine falcone from gotham linking to the LAF. But the order I have made from Gotham is;
- Gotham.
- Batman Begins.
- Batman and Robin.
- Batman Dark Knight.
- Batman Forever.
- Batman 89.
- Batman Dark Knight Rises.
- Batman Returns.
the last time I posted something about gotham i had a few nasty comments. I enjoy gotham and love to discuss with people so if you dont have anything nice please scroll, thank you. But everything else matches perfectly 70% is based of google and the 30% is based of me tweaking it a little bit. It all matches with all characters that aren’t villains. All robins and Barbara. She put so much pressure on Addison to save Susan that she couldn't look at the situation for what it was. I know she loved Susan but Addison was her daughter and she treated her as if she was just someone who didn't matter. I felt so bad watching her slap her and talk to her the way she did during Susan's health assessment episode. Going from the last episode where Addison finds out that she's been lied to and that she hated her Dad for what felt like was her mom's doing to her demanding she work a miracle, I just feel like her and Archer never stood a chance to have a decent upbringing. AND WHEN SHE TOLD SAM THAT IT WASNT HER JOB TO TELL ADDISON SHE FELT LIKE SHE WAS THE BEST AT WHAT SHE DOES BECAUSE IT ISNT HER JOB?!?!?!!! I WANTED TO JUMP THROUGH THE TV!!!! I want to hug Addison. I feel bad that she's losing someone she loves but I completely despised how she treated her daughter. She didn't deserve that and it was completely unfair to pressure her in that way.
