hi all, I thought I'd share my Pro experiences with ChatGPT since it's release of o3-mini.
For reference, you may have seen my comment from a week ago where I praised o1 Pro mode for being an unmatched powerhouse for security R&D.
Needless to say, I was extremely excited to continue tinkering and refining my processes with o3-mini-high.
The first few hours that it dropped were game-changing. This mini version of o3 outputted fantastic results that was approximately ~5-10% less accurate than o1 Pro.
But, this allowed me to refine, iterate, and test ideas 10x faster!
Everything was going smoothly. I thought I finally had enough auxiliary power to take a few groundbreaking ideas I had to the next level. - That was, until I logged in the next morning.
In an effort to prevent another Deepseek incident, OpenAl has adjusted their policies to actively prevent any technique that has the potential to reveal the proprietary reasoning process.
What does this mean for researchers?
The trade-off is no longer being able to use advanced prompt engineering techniques like chain of thought or zero-shot, role prompting, or the various meta-techniques.
This has essentially ruined all of their models, and I can no longer use ChatGPT for my work.
For comparison, the level of output I could previously get with just 4o and thoughtful prompt engineering, would far, far out-perform o3-mini or o3-mini-high with its current limitations.
Let me be clear, for the typical use case, o3 mini is a significant upgrade. The speed of its reasoning power is undoubtedly powerful.
However, even as a Pro user, my research abilities with ChatGPT have been crippled, and I have had to get creative with other platforms. This is an arduous process, and significantly delays my work.
This is just a single perspective, with a specific focus. I'd like to get a bigger picture.

This isn’t my first time starting a skin care routine but I’ve only ever used cera-ve face wash and moisturizer and dermatologist prescribed acne creams. What do you suggest for stuff like toners, cleansers, moisturizers, spf, body scrub, retinol, vitamin c serum, ect. Pretty much anything for a full face and body skincare routine. If it helps I have dry skin.

I do not sweat. At all. I am from a subtropical south Asian country. (Just for the weather context, it is relatively humid). This could be a good could thing from body odor pov and all. But it is a big turn off for me. I am into hot sweaty stuff amd sometimes it feels bad and I dont know what I can do to change. My bf is really sweet about it (he is into that too, like very). But it doesnt feel right when I myself dont like it. No matter what physical exercise I do you wouldnt even see a bead of sweat. Its a bit unsettling for me to be like this. I guess I am looking for something I can do to be something I like. Or for someone who has been in thias situation. Could be a weird thing, but it is messing with me mentally.
