I am a long term holder on XRP, made some nice profits and put a lot in to SWFT, love both coins very much and know they are competitors. But, I am curious why SWFT has just taken off as from what I understand and may be wrong about, but SWFT does more with banking at this time than XRP. can anyone help me out with this? I am a long term holder so I’m in it to win it not a newbie expecting to 1000X over night. Love the community and love having discussions and getting new input.

2025.02.02 07:00 Noisy_02 Damn I wasted time and I feel embarrassed about my job
I just recently turned 24 and although I did enjoy my birthday it really has been settling in that I’m at an age where I should have a lot more of my life together. I work an hourly type job so I either get decent hours or really shit short ones. I have been job searching and applied for places but haven’t got any luck yet. I feel really hopeless about it and really planned to have left my current job in January but after not getting any of the job roles I applied for recently I’m back to square one of just wondering what to do next, what’s out there that I could do. As much as I enjoy the free time and flexibility I have with my job schedule it’s becoming embarrassing that for the most part I work a shit job doing strenuous tasks for shit pay. I want out of this as soon as I can. It doesn’t help either that my parents more or less promote me to stay this way. They want me to stay catered to them and even want me to go live in another state for 6 months with them which obviously can’t take that type of time off work and be on my parents time like that. I was hoping so much I’d find a stable full time position and start getting more money for myself to hopefully live on my own and feel more secure about myself. But here I am embarrassed that I can’t seem to find any other work out there and feel stuck at a job like this

Does it have the same kind of management stuff that the Pathfinder games. I really really enjoyed those games till I got to the Kingdom or Army phase. Both made me just plain quit. Sorry, I am sure it is fun for some people but not me. But before that. The core mechanics of the character's party, questing, fighting looting was awesome. I mean the party dialog for WOTR got meh I think I only liked Ember. It dumped me into the next phase and I just got lost. I would really like to know if Rogue Trader is like the good parts or am I going to end up quitting like the others.

Myself and five other friends all went on a two week holiday several months ago and have lots of photos and want to spend a night looking through all of them but don’t want to go through everyone’s individual albums and instead get all of the photos into one album that we can preferably filter by date/time so that they are all in chronological order.
What is the best way to do this?
Ideally if there is a free option that would be great, but we are also happy to pitch in for a paid cloud storage (but again one that we could filter by date/time). Most of us have iPhone but not all so airdrop album doesn’t really work. We also have a hard drive we can upload the album onto after it is created so we don’t have to keep a cloud storage subscription ongoing.

2025.02.02 07:00 Jarisatis Usopp seems lost in the grand scheme of things [One Piece]
As I continue to catch up more one piece chapters, I feel Usopp is truly lost in one piece world.
Back in pre ts, you see the narrative push he gets whether it's his fight against Chu, developing Nami's climatact, standing up for Luffy's dream against Baraque Works member, his alter ego of Sogeking and declaring war on world government.
The problem comes with post timeskip shift where enemies have monster strength and his only defence was a mere slingshot. Now he wants to become "brave warrior of the sea" right? Maybe a good way to work on his dream is now becoming "brave" without the disguise of Sogeking? Well this never happened... and the disaster begins.
He immediately regressed to his Arlong Park persona who shits his pants against enemies 24/7. The only major stint in the entirety of post ts he did was snipping (aka traumatizing) a kid and mind you that scene comes after a LOT of reluctance from his side cause he wanted to always abandon Tontattas.
"He is supposed to represent guys like us in the one piece and you would be scared too among the monsters" No first of all he is not "normal" person, a normal person can't survive 3 Haki infused headbutts or getting his skull cracked completely.
Again, Nami is a "normal" person in the same sense then and she is way times more braver than him. As compared to Usopp, she willingly fought with Luffy against Cracker for 12 hours straight and saved Luffy's life against big mom army even when he told her to leave. Refused to give Lola's whereabouts even if it meant torture by big mom, commanded the whole sunny and managed to hold out against BM.
The difference is even soo sharp in Wano, when she hit Ulti and Usopp was pleading her to run with him instead of BACKING her up. How are you a combatant and want to become brave warrior but doesn't even have guts of a navigator who shouldn't be fighting in the first place?
Overall right now, his dream seems like a big fat joke, he doesn't do craftsmanship anymore which is taken by Franky anyway who will play a major role in the final war as building the Pluton. If he somehow reverses all of this in a span of few manga chapters then it would be undeserving cause he honestly hasn't done anything since a decade. Overall he seems lost.

I study Classics at university and I have been a long term member of the latin discord server. I have joined it pretty much as soon as I got a discord account 6 years ago. Things have gone significantly downhill in the past few years. A lot of us long term members are more interested in posting about our daily lives in the internal chats and squabbling about politics/religion. Many long-term members have also left due to recent server politics. The server in general is less active than its vast size would suggest: it's mostly new-comers asking translation questions and a few diligent older members holding up the last semblance of interest in latin and classical antiquities.
Please respect yourself and respect your own time and join the LLPSI server / other language servers instead. In my opinion the only help anyone new could reasonably find on this server is from its resources channel. There is no community here. No longer.
