Hello all,
I’ve been wanting to make this post for a while. After some testing as an adult, I was diagnosed with a mood disorder, multiple learning disabilities, and a lower IQ. This made sense as I spent my entire childhood and teenage years in special education classes.
I’m about to graduate with a BA and it’s been an incredibly trying process. Despite this, I have recently been admitted to a local university to pursue a MA in clinical mental health.
I’m excited but nervous about how difficult I know it will be.

37/f with a history of ovarian cysts, severe endometriosis, endometrial adhesions (my uterus has adhered to my abdominal wall), pre-cancerous cervical cells, diagnosis of rare spinal cord tumor (ependymoma) in 2022, IBS-c, MTHFR. I feel like there are others, I'm practically a walking House episode, but these are the ones I feel most important to overall health. Also looking into EDS diagnosis. Recently, I have been having some intense pain in my lower sides back and front, extreme tenderness, and incontinence issues. I can tell when I have a cyst and I assumed it was the cause for the pain. Ultrasound results were as follows:
FINDINGS: Uterus measures 8.1 x 4.8 x 5.8 cm. Endometrial thickness measures 7 mm. Small amount of fluid in the endometrium at the fundus
Right ovary measures 3.8 x 2.5 x 2.4 cm. Septated 1.2 cm cyst. Complex 1.7 cm cyst.
Left ovary measures 3.6 x 3.1 x 3.2 cm. Septated 2.8 cm cyst. Simple appearing 1.2 cm cyst.
Normal color flow to the ovaries bilaterally.
IMPRESSION: Complex cyst associated left ovary may represent corpus luteum cyst however consider follow-up in 4-6 weeks
seems simple enough but I'm concerned. I would like to have some thoughts on it until I can ask my doctor questions. Thank you
