I just rewatched edge runners and I can’t seem to understand why kiwi betrayed the crew. She seemed like she regrets her decision in the end but what was it she wanted? If it was just money, why? I don’t get it. Is she just a bad person or desperate for something? If it is just for the money, I find it to be a stupid reason and makes me dislike as a character.

2024.11.25 01:40 schooly_j I’m thinking of getting mine removed but I’m worried about my iron levels.
I got it last December because my iron levels were dangerously low. I’m also almost 40 and not planning to have any more kids. It helps with my iron immensely. My levels have gone way up because my periods are much lighter and I’m feeling better in that sense. But I’ve been having awful headaches- sometimes they’re so debilitating that doubling up on advil and Tylenol doesn’t cut it. I started tracking them a few months ago and discovered that I get one right before my period starts. Plus I have less severe headaches all the time. I’ve also gained 15lbs this year without any major diet and exercise changes. Before that, I’ve basically been the same weight for the last decade. I have an appt in a couple of weeks to talk about maybe removing it but I’m worried about my iron. I also had frequent headaches when I was anemic so I feel like I can’t win.
Did anyone else get a Mirena to make your periods lighter and end up getting it removed? What are the other options? I can’t take BC with estrogen because of my age and because I recently started vaping again like a dummy.

Had my first AP when I was around 8, had a few more throughout childhood, not much during teenage years but some during early adulthood. Now I'm 34 and it comes in waves. It's been a year since the last time. And during that time I had several highly significant APs, I was right on the cusp of being able to trigger their occurrences and then poof- they stopped. I believe this was due to high stress situations occurring in my life during that time. It always started the same way. I fell asleep, sleep paralysis set in, I accepted that I could not move or wake up, I sank into my bed, and peace washed over me. From there I would visualize a "screen" and ask it to show me images. I would say "show me a bird, show me an aerial view of my town, show me my friend, show me a forest". And these images would form infront of me, they'd come together like constellations until a whole illustration was formed. One time I said "show me my mom", and instead of a grainy image of my mother slowly coming together I was given this breathtaking and intricate geometric shape that had movement and was made up of every color imaginable and pulsated infront of me. Not my mom, but our mom. And from there I was able to travel. I could choose a location I wanted to see and within seconds I was there. This was cool and fun but I wanted that wild imagery of this vast geometric shape again. It came with that ultimate feeling i could never describe in words. And every night I looked forward to sinking into peace. But like I said, it abruptly came to an end and I haven't been able to get it back. What's the protocol guys? You all seem to have methods. How do I trigger this again?

Quick Kits have ruined a lot of the best aspects of the game for me. When I'd hear shooting in Lockdown previously I knew that there was a 90% chance it would be players with tasty gear, now it's just 90% quick shit. Half the players I Kill aren't worth looting now.
Quick Kits should have a 99K value to not lessen the fun in Lockdown.

 | Just wanted to share as I think a few of you might like this. I was sick and tired of constantly printing new spool adapters for the AMS when they didn't fit the various cardboard spools I use. Whenever I got a new cardboard spool, the adapter rings I had been using were either too small or too big. If they were too small, I couldn't get them on; if they were too big, I had to glue them in place to prevent them from falling off. I've now designed my own adapter, which has a built-in flex mechanism that can open and close, and sort of clamps around the spool. They now fit all the spools I have—and they’re reusable. They’ve worked perfectly every time. Tested and working with many different spools from eSUN, though they should fit most brands, I suppose. Trying really hard to just chill and enjoy this game. Running a Chelsea only team so hopped into fut champs to try and get the new Felix card. But after 4 games in I allready don’t even want to try anymore. Only lost one game but in the game I lost to 3 corner goals. Nothing I could do, straight to van dijk who has 3 people on him and couldn’t do anything. All the guy did was sit with his whole team in the box and score off of corners. In addition, I constantly made plenty of chances but his goalie saved everything. I’ve played this game for years but this year it’s getting increasingly harder to even play this game for mild enjoyment. Is it my fault or is the game genuinely just this bad this year?

She has not responded for around 11 months at this point. But she hasn't deleted or blocked me on social media sites, and sometimes she posts songs on Snapchat story, and the lyrics of those songs oddly feel like about relationships and could even apply to the relationship we had. And she even liked two of my Instagram posts back in June. I just need some hope, because without her being in my life, my life really feels not worth anything.

2024.11.25 01:40 OePea Budgeting a Purchase and Move
I'm hoping some folks could speculate what kinda overall cost I'm looking at, if I was purchasing land in rural MI or WV for 40k, with electric on site. I'm feeling in a bit of a hurry, the way I see things going I'd really like to secure that in less than a year(not presuming to have it paid off, obviously that would be ideal). I recognize it's good advice not to panic, I should just mention I'm stubborn and I'm convinced Im not panicing, but I have been teetering around the precipice of buying property for four years now, and it keeps drifting out of reach. I HAVE to secure it. If you need to say your cautionary piece I welcome it, but I'm interested in commenters wildly speculating what costs and economic pitfalls I'll be facing. I'm open to either getting a loan, since I currently have 'good' credit, or owner financing.
I will not likely have anything arranged wherever I'm going, beyond getting my electricity turned on.. So I'm just not picturing much of an income at the beginning, though I should be able to resume my 2k a month in hopefully, a month. I want at this point to aknowledge a lot of the parameters I'm working with here are sub par, less than sensible some times.. I have problems, that keep me at a pretty poverous level. The usual bad childhood, rural poverty into mentally ill drinkeslacker. Got it somewhat together in 2018 and have made slow progress, but I get by waiting tables. cPTSD has me fainting randomly, occasionally, which means if it happens at work I have to get off the floor til it stops. After having to again leave work today for a medical surprise, I'm getting concerned for my future prospects. At the moment, I have the option to stay on a friend's property about an hour from my job, for free rather than paying my 700/m on rent. He has a habitation I could live in, it's a prefab shed and its probably got a good mouse population at this point, but I can get re-accustomed to it.
I've lived hard, alcohol had me livin outside for a lot of my 20's, so I'm familiar with doing without, roughing it in a sense. Grew up on in an unsafe family on a broke ass attempt at a homestead too, so I've got some experience, and have been focused on my goal for a few years now. 35 year old late bloomer.
I'd like to move somewhere a little cooler than it's been in northeast OK. I've found a few properties online that sound pretty agreeable, south eastern slopes and all. I'm ok with traveling to a place to check it out in person, if it seems like the step to take. I can make time, more or less as much as I need, to do it right.
My vehicle situation will probably require something serious between now and locking in the purchase, I only say that because of its age(97 ranger), not because anything is currently wrong with it. I would be removing rent, but increasing mileage significantly. I hope, in my best case scenario, to have 15k(emergency funds, everything) by spring. Expenses(breakup/consequent move) have dropped me recently, but I'm already recooperating. Sober of alcohol for 3 years so I don't have that expense at least. I have enough to fix/replace my vehicle currently, have some tools and the gumption..
If anyone could relay their experiences buying land that cost around 30-50k, especially in those two states or ones you know have similar processes? Sorry again for my ignorance but It's a lot of questions in a way, and I don't think there's another subreddit this would even be tolerated in, despite it having elements of several.
