Is it wrong to love someone that doesn’t love you back? I can’t help but feel ”selfish” and pathetic for not being able to move on. I feel embarrassed too for having read the room wrong, and for having assumed that this guy would’ve liked me back.
I feel like this one guy that I really liked, I can’t help but feel like I’m unattractive and worthless. And I feel ashamed and guilty for having liked him.

2024.11.24 23:10 Soft-Mine4718 Transmission failure on two different cars after repairs at same shop weeks apart, suspect or coincidence?
So I’m curious if this sounds like a hell of a coincidence of if there’s more to it. I have a 2007 Ford Escape with about 211,000 miles on it. The starter went out and so took it to the gas station mechanic closest to me. One I’d never used before. They replaced the starter and patched a hole in one wheel. Within 2 weeks the transmission failed. I chalked it up to it being a high mileage old car.
But my sister has a 2016 Ford Escape with 79,000 miles on it. She took it to the same place (a week after they repaired mine but before it broke down). They changed her front and rear brake pads, rear rotors, and a seized rear driver’s side caliper. Had to return the next day because of strange noises. They said they forgot to put some kind of pin in (no idea what they were talking about) and fixed it at no additional charge. About 2 weeks after that, her transmission failed.
So does this sound fishy to anyone else or could it be a coincidence? And if it does sound suspect what should we do? It would take a while to come up with that kind of money and probably not worth it for the 07 but the 16 still has payments. Really need some advice. Thank you so much!

2024.11.24 23:10 RachyRockieRoo Finally seeing the toxic TikTok “Mounjaro cult” for what it is = BS
Across social media in general (TikTok in particular) there has developed a very toxic Mounjaro cult of “influencers” who are flaunting huge unsustainable weight losses which are apparently only possible because they are deliberately consuming dangerously low amounts of calories. Just because it is so much easier to do so with the appetite suppression Mounjaro provides. And they are capitalising on their huge following by flogging endless and largely unnecessary supplements. Urrrggghh.
Sadly I was drawn in by this BS initially and it was one of the reasons why I started taking Mounjaro; I was expecting similar results, not fully aware at that time about how and why these people were dropping a stone in a week and continuing to drop 4/5lbs per week thereafter!
To say that it has had a detrimental impact on my psychological wellbeing is an understatement (see my previous post on here) 😔. Thank you to everyone who responded to that with kind words, tough love and common sense. I certainly won’t be double dosing again! I know that I was lucky to have avoided any ill-effects of doing something so stupid in sheer frustration! Not recommended!!
I have now deleted my profiles from TikTok and Instagram and have re-adjusted my expectations. I’m satisfied with the fact that I have managed to lose 10.8lbs in my first month, whilst maintaining a sustainable calorie deficit, as approved by my Dietician, and I will continue to do so.
I will be starting my 5mg pen tomorrow morning with a renewed optimism. I will get to where I want to be, however long it takes, in a safe and sustainable way that will hopefully help me heal my relationship with food, and avoid developing an ED!
