2024.11.24 23:09 NickiNic84 Daily calories wrong?
I started MFP about 2 weeks ago. I am 40/F, 5ā6ā and starting weight is 188lbs. I have a sedentary job and do not currently work out. I put all of this info in when registering and it spit out I can have 1650 calories per day to lose 1 lb per week. I came from Weight Watchers so I really didnāt think too much about it. But today I started researching and playing around with TDEE calculators and other apps and all of them say I should have about 1350 calories per day. I double checked my weight and goal settings with MFP and everything is entered correctly. Anybody know why itās giving me so many more calories?

2024.11.24 23:09 oceanferns Anyone else experience a subtotal removal?
just over 2 years ago I had my surgery. All went well beside my surgeon not removing the whole gallbladder. Memory of exactly why is foggy as he told me when I was high on fentanyl but I believe it was due to alot of scar tissue making the organ almost "stuck" to my abdomen wall (or whatever it would be stuck too idk). During the laparoscopic surgery he made the decision to only remove part of the organ, rather than opening me up fully.
Over the last 2 years I have had reoccuring gallbladder like attacks, with the first few leading me to the ER. Any follow up appointment I've had to discuss these concerns I felt pretty dismissed and problems left unresolved. There is no pattern to these attacks as I can eat very healthy and low fat and still wakeup in the middle of night in pain. I have had 4 attacks in the last year that were not as intense as before, and have not saught any help or consultation with doctors for.
Looking for anyone with similar experiences, tips and tricks, support? anything !

Hi all!
Going to the reading show on the 29th, and Iām planning to get there around 1 and camp in line til doors open. Itās going to be cold, 44Ā°, and I am a very cold girl, but Iām also trying to dress for the occasion (aka fishnets). This will also be my first time getting in line earlier than like 1 hr before. So my question: what should I do in terms of staying warm? I was thinking about just thrifting a big coat and leaving it outside before going in since I donāt want to carry a coat around, but my boyfriend is pretty against that idea. What am I supposed to do? I know itās going to get hot in the pit and I refuse to carry around a big coat. I also suspect he wonāt be too excited about carrying two coats. So is that normal and acceptable? If I just thrift a coat and leave it outside?
Any advice is appreciated!
TLDR: itās cold and Iām semi camping in line but I donāt want to carry a coat. What should I do

Can someone give me a more better explanation of what Ambessa was trying to achieve?
From my understanding her whole character motivation was to get revenge from the black rose organization cause they killed her son and to do that she needed the power of hextech. In the final act she basically teams up with Viktor so that he can provide her with his mindless zombies but Viktor's plan if it succeeded was to evolve everyone into these zombies (basically taking away the free will as that is what he deems to be the perfect way to "help" people) isn't that like the exact opposite of what Ambessa wants ? Cause if Viktor succeeds he turns Ambessa into his puppet as well

(context iām a hardstuck low legendary bum) Do you know how much it sucks after going through war (mainly one sided) and gaining 57? just because i went against one mythic player. I just lost a super ten year war battle against a mythic player and lost 180 - while the mythic player themself peaked masters? Does this not make any sense?
