Hello all,
I am trying to create a spreadsheet formula that in a "category" column, will return the category I label it based off of what the text in column D contains. For instance, if column D contains "Jeremy" then return "income", if D contains "Todd" then return "Gas Station", and so on. I want to run this as one big formula that will be placed in column I and will read off of the same row but column D.
Here is what I currently have:

My First LGBallT Art. I only discovered this recently, have been having a rough go of things, so ended up making this to vent and self-validate I suppose.
If this sort of post is not allowed please let me know, I read the rules and don’t think I’m violating them, but in case I missed something please tell me and I’ll remove this.
I am not tech-savvy, and had limited colors, so I hope I managed to make all of my flags recognizable/correct enough (I am admittedly a label hoarder).
The words in it are lyrics to Let Me Be Myself by 3 Doors Down, it’s always sort of been my go to comfort song, so to speak.
Just in case it was not clear I will list from the top left to right what each are: intersex and trans, arivean, finsexual, Two-Spirit, this one I meant to try and show demiromantic and demisensual with a bi heart, and lastly the sensory friendly queer flag.

2024.11.24 23:50 UnicornOnTheCobb Apple should let macOS apps distributed through the Mac App Store run on iPad.

Ever since the first iPad Pro models and M1 devkits which used iPad CPUs, people have been asking Apple to let iPads run macOS.
It has gotten to the point where Apple execs like Craig have come out and categorically stated they don’t want to do it.
To be fair, while the hardware is capable of running macOS, macOS is not well designed for touch input. Recently Apple has made a big deal about releasing the full Final Cut Pro for iPad.
Today, developers can write apps in UIKit through Catalyst and SwiftUI which target macOS and iPadOS, but for large legacy applications built with AppKit, this essentially requires a full rewrite.
IMHO Apple should bring AppKit to iPadOS and enable mac apps distributed through the App Store to be installed on iPad.
This way they can keep their walled garden on iPad, and developers can (mostly) keep their existing codebase and sell it on a new hardware platform.
What do you think? Are there any mac app store apps you would use on iPad?

So… don’t be like me.
I travelled to be with family for my birthday over the weekend and left my plus + there. I figured that I would try using my watch for tracking and saw a website that stated I just needed to sync with the health app, no other details… sweet!
Fast forward to this morning (Monday), and I go to do my final sleep tracking from Eevee week hoping to get another shiny, only to find that there was no option to sync with my watch.
I had to skip my research and move to the next island. Yes, I was dumb, but from the information I saw where there were no details on when or how to sync with the health app, I thought I would be safe. Funny thing is it may have been fine if it wasn’t a Monday and I was able to get into the main menu.
If you are hoping to use your watch to track sleep, make sure you have everything paired in the settings menu before you go to sleep! 🥲
