For those on chemo who have lost their hair, has anyone of you suddenly become SUPER into those hairstylist vids on TikTok and Reels and stuff...? I have shaved my head (even tho I'm still on W&W woohoo!) because it is going to be a lot more tragic and traumatizing if my hair is long and I start to lose it once treatment starts...and now I can't get enough of people dying their hair all kinds of cool colors and doing wolf cuts and curtain bangs...
I just find it hilarious. My sons say I have "hair envy" now lololol! Probably true...
Hope that makes someone smile. I am dreaming of a time where I'm NED and happy and heavier (OMG did I say that???!) and HEALTHIER. I can't wait to get my hair back and dye it blue. Or orange..more maybe I'll do a rainbow/shimmer thing!!! Or a design lol!
Ah, it's nice to dream...I'll get there. Just like being in jail... I'm gonna be here "a minute" (which in jail-terms means "get comfy bc you're gonna be here a LONG while!") In that case...NOT what I wanted to hear. In this case though...yeah. I'm down for waiting. I've accepted it and I even figured out why I was so upset about having to wait to get something I don't even want in the first place. It was stupid and childish but I've worked thru that one. I still feel impatient some days bc there is a dissonance between how I feel and how the doctors see my labs and stuff. They know more stuff than I do, so some of the stuff I'd felt lately had been psychosomatic, in fact. I do feel heaviness in my legs whenever I try to walk, and my exhaustion gets worse during the day. I start off strong in the morning as I'm waiting for the bus to go downtown. Most times I feel pretty good at this point. By the time I am done (I take the 1:20 pm bus home and walk the 4 blocks from the bus stop so I'm home before 2 typically) I am tired, falling asleep right there on the bus...and cranky. Then I feel guilty bc I literally crawl into my bed and barely move the rest of the night as soon as I get home. Sometimes I make dinner but a lot of the times the kids (the youngest is 14 and the eldest here is 22, so they are old enough to make food) have to eat Ramen or make themselves something easy like PB&J or toasted cheese sandwiches. I try to cook a few times a week tho at least and do the dishes and straighten up, but as the day goes on, I have less and less energy.

Hey guys,
I want to request an ILL, but at my local library I understand that once it arrives to the branch, you have to physically ask a librarian, and then they will physically check it out to you. I also know on the computer they make you verify that it’s the correct title / book (that also comes in a clear pouch).
It’s kind of embarassing but I’ve been dealing with a really hurtful breakup, and self help books have always seemed to calm me down or give me closure I’ve needed. I am in therapy, which helps a lot, but books have helped me so much in addition. I don’t want to be judged for being ”cringey” or “weird”, and I know I’m overthinking it.
This specific book I want has the title clearly written all over it, but I’m a little embarrassed to request it because of this reason. I know it sounds ridiculous, but does anyone have any tips?
I know worse comes to worse, I could just buy it or Kindle it, but money is kind of tight right now, and other books I’ve read that were “discreet” & that came as an ILL have helped me so much before.

With several potential catalysts on the horizon and a share price of only $3.35, Raymond James analyst Laura Prendergast sees a compelling opportunity for investors.
“We believe MURA is currently undervalued for the following reasons: 1) lead asset, nemvaluekin, has near-term commercial opportunity that doesn’t seem to be on the radar yet for many investors, 2) management and board have notable experience that inspire confidence in ability to maneuver late stage drug development/commercial launch/BD execution; 3) MURA is currently trading at a 65% discount to cash and at 98% discount to its small cap biotech peer group,” Prendergast explained.
“If MURA can execute on [its] catalysts, we anticipate the company could become a major buyout target. We analyzed recent biotech acquisitions with similar 5-year forward sales estimates to MURA. Average historical take out multiple for this peer group is 5x EV/5-year forward sales which implies a potential deal value of ~$1.2B and $48 target price for MURA,” the analyst further noted.
For now, Prendergast rates MURA shares a Strong Buy, while her $18 price target suggests a robust upside of ~440% on the one-year horizon.
Other analysts are also optimistic about the cancer drug maker. MURA’s Strong Buy consensus rating breaks down into 3 Buys and no Holds or Sells. In addition, the $16.33 average price target puts the upside potential at 387%.

Hi!
I recently got a TR-08 which I really like. I realized that when plugging anything to the audio-in 3.5mm jack ("mix-in") I hear a background noise. I've tried this with multiple devices (piano, laptop, mobile) and different cables, but it's always there.
Not sure if it's a defective unit or if iits normal for this box... I'm looking for opinions since I'm not sure if I need to ask for a replacement unit.
