Yesterday I decided to make makgeolli. I cooked 1Kg sweet glutinous rice, let it cool, added 100g nuruk and for whatever reason I put 2L of water instead of the 1L recommended in the recipe.
I’ve got another kilo of glutinous rice and would rather not buy more- should I cook the other kilo and add it in with another 100g of nuruk or should I discard my current attempt and use the other kilo to start a new batch from scratch?

Does anyone know if it’s possible to use mrtk components (xr rig, interaction manager) with the Meta quest 3? Have created an application for my dissertation using MRTK components and have went to use application with Meta quest 3, and there is no movement using the joysticks. Then tried using the OVR rig and I was able to move using joysticks and teleport pads, but had no way to interact with the buttons and animations I had created. Any help would be appreciated…

Hi everyone. I wonder if you could help me and offer me some thoughts on what I’m going through.
I’ll try to keep this concise because who wants to read paragraphs on end.
I am a 26 year old male living in London.
I graduated with a law degree (2:1) and since graduation have progressed to be a paralegal at my current firm.
I do not see myself being in the legal profession in the long term due to not really finding the work stimulating, disliking the lack of client interaction, and disliking the extent to which I am stuck behind a desk. I have been at a few firms now and do not like how solicitors tend to work, it just doesn’t seem like something I could do in the long run.
Due to this, I have been searching for a career which would offer me a salary that I would be happy with but also a work/life balance which wouldn’t burn me out and which would ensure my long term happiness. I have also placed an emphasis on finding a career where I do have an interest in what I’m doing.
Over the years, I have become more and more interested in finance and economics. I reached out to a well known Wealth Management company and ended up speaking with the owning partner. We have had a few lovely conversations about becoming a financial advisor and admittedly really like him and how he has described the role.
I would really appreciate it if any of you could let me know if you think a career in financial advice would be a good career choice based on the following points which explain more about me as a person:
- I have ADHD but am going to be medicated within the next 2 months. It does impact me a lot but I have read that a career as a financial advisor would lend itself well to those with ADHD.
- I would like a flexible work/life balance which is of importance to me to ensure that I don’t feel enclaved by my job.
- If I have one skill, it is interacting with clients and I have a good ability to create long standing relationships. Would this lend itself well to a career in financial advice?
- I do have the aspiration of a high salary once qualified. This would ideally be £100k a year.
I have been offered the role and sponsorship for the exams, I’m just not sure if it’s the right fit for me and would really appreciate some of your thoughts.

-its definitly a 19th or early 20th painting -style is close to Herbert Draper, I think, -I stumbled upon it on an art print website but I dont thinks its a well known painting at all. -You can see an indisctinctive man on a desk, in the dark. Above him there is a window where all the light come from, showing 4-5 dreamy women bright figures as allegories flotting in the air. One is offering a rose, another one has laurels of victory or something, third has a child in the arms and in the upper right or the painting back in the shadows the last one is an allegory of death. -I cant recall the name of the painter, but the title of the painting has something to do with Life expectations, or goals or something.
If you have no idea pointing me in some directions of suggesting tools could still help. I tried Chat GPT with no success as the AI points me to paintings that doesnt exist...

So I know the u8n is better. It is what i want.. so here is my dilemma.
Costco sells the u7n 65. 699. But it comes with a 5 year warranty for free. plus a 50 dollar game card. costco doesn't sell the u8n.
Best buy has the u8n 65 for 899. but doesn't come with the warranty. if i want 5 year I'm looking at 250 more.
I also read that the 75. is better then the 65... but i think sitting 6 feet away from it in a smaller living room seems like overkill.
So it would be about 1100 + tax so like 1300 for the u8n vs u7n at about 740.
is it worth the extra? I have researched this to death, family is tired of hearing me talk about tvs. I'm a little worried about the issues I've read with these tvs.
just looking for opinions and suggestions.
Will be using this tv mostly for gaming.. but also streaming movies.
