Hello, fellow steer and doe!
I currently live in an old airstream, one of the smaller models from the 90’s I believe (I don’t own it, it’s my moms and I live in it on her off grid property). It has a propane powered furnace built in but it doesn’t do much for heating up the room. At most, it will take the chill off so it’s 45 degrees instead of 29. I’ve looked at small indoor camping propane powered heaters but I’m worried they’ll be just as ineffective since I would need to have a window open for air flow. I have a gas geni for power that I turn on to charge up the batteries and when I need to use my 12v plug ins.
I’ve been wondering if I should just get a power inverter to use a regular corded heater with less wattage pull. I’m not sure though. Any suggestions would be super helpful, I know y’all got some tips for me💫
Also for context, I’m in so-cal’s backcountry mountains so we get frost pretty much every night now.

2024.11.24 23:46 Hot-Saucy 14 month old Xbox series x laggy and crashing
Playing Skyrim and far cry 6 and both games run laggy at times and crash hourly. Basically making my Xbox an out of warranty brick. Any suggestions? I shut it down and unplugged for a few min and that didn’t help. Do I need a factory reset or is this an update bug maybe? Just started in the last few days

Antes que cualquier clima, la lluvia es el top tier. Caminar con paraguas, truenos, mojarte un poco, pisar algún que otro charquito. Hay algo en eso que da felicidad. Podes romántizar tu melancolía por estar solo o disfrutar acompañado calentito en una cama mirando una peli. No veo fallas en esta maravilla. Todo se tiñe de un sentimiento ambiguo, estes en el laburo, en tu casa, en la facultad o en la calle. Es casi surrealista. Alguien mas disfruta de esto?

...can we talk about a real hardcore mode? Everyone running around chugging pots, dropping target dummies, and popping flask of petrification whenever they pull three mobs. Playing on super easy mode, and still dying... Not very hardcore.
First of all, I would ADD an account-wide buff on your characters that stacks every time someone you partied with dies, and when you mouse over it, it shows how many were with the specific character you're currently on. Make sure that it includes people who leave group and scatter. So people can look at you and know how many players you griefed. Also an account-wide buff that shows how many of your own characters have died. No, I don't think I'll join a dungeon with a healer who has let 74 people die.
Then flask of petrification has to be the first thing to go, followed by the one-minute dungeon hearth timer. If you're in combat, the hearth timer should reset and disappear, so it can't be used as a method to escape. If you get into trouble and can't handle it, you're dead. No get out of jail free cards.
Then hunters. The entire idea of hardcore is that if you die, you're gone. So why do they get to constantly revive their pets? If a hunter pet dies, it is deleted. Feign death even existing is easy mode, and why so many bots are hunters, but if you use it and your pet dies, you gotta train and level a new one. PSA: Just don't group with hunters, they'll get you killed.
Professions. I already mentioned petrification flasks, but if you need 17 potion buffs just to kill green mobs, you're not very hardcore. So get rid of alchemy, and all potions and flasks. Then get rid of engineering. Target dummies and grenades just mean you weren't careful enough, and don't belong playing hardcore. You can keep first aid though.
And finally, world buffs. Not on hardcore realms. Hardcore is supposed to be hard. It's literally in the name. Some people obviously were able to play without them and kill Hakkar and Onyxia, or you wouldn't have them, so you don't need them. And watching level 10s running around with Dragonslayer is the most softcore thing I could imagine.

Right now, I work as a car photographer using my Rebel T5i, but I have been considering upgrading because of a few reasons;
1- The performance on high ISO is very poor, anywhere after 1600 ISO, it starts to get grainy.
2- I somewhat like the auto-focus, but better autofocus, especially in darker spots such as the interior will make life a lot easier and make my pictures better, I tried using my 50mm f/1.8 lens to take close-up pictures of the interior and the auto-focus gets really bad with that lens for some reason.
3- Battery life is enough most days, it lasts around 6 hours on a single battery so I am not concerned about it, but longer battery life would be great.
Overall, I really love the camera, it's been with me since 2020 and I have taken some really amazing pictures with it, but now that it is more of a job than a hobby, I think it is time to upgrade.
I have been thinking of 2 options
1- 5D Mark IV because I saw a picture my friend took at 8000 ISO and it looked better than my 800 ISO,
2- R6 Mark II, which I know is a little more expensive, but everyone talks great about it and mirrorless is the future of photography, which is what I plan on doing for the rest of my life
I just don't know which one I should spend my money on to be my camera for at least the next 5 years, on one hand I have 4 EF lenses and 2 EF-S with a lot of great lenses on the market, or if I should spend extra money on the R6 since it'll be the future and I should learn more about mirrorless before I'm too late
My budget is $2500, and I would be willing to buy a used camera as long as it is in great condition.

Basically I passed all parts of the exam first try and turned in my I-9 and all my onboarding. I received an email from TELUS thanking me for finishing my onboarding and that they were still finalizing some details for my start date and then the next day I get an email from Workday saying that even though I’ve left the company, I can still access my account with some credentials that they provided. Then I log in with the credentials they gave me and all the notifications I had received on the Workday website say “terminated”. I emailed TELUS HR but i know they take a long time to respond so has anyone had this happen before? I’m just so confused because I never received anything from TELUS saying that I was terminated or anything.

2024.11.24 23:46 milliemallow Got married under the double arch, spent 8 wonderful days exploring southern Utah with my husband. 100000% worth the 24 hour drive back home.
 | The letter says “one day my dad and mom got married. It was great!” Our 7 and 11 year olds were very emotional. It was the sweetest day of my life. We saw the mighty 5, part of zebra canyon and the petrified forest in escalante, goblin valley and the Grand Canyon. Spent a couple of days in cedar city getting pizza and parking the camper just outside of town. Nothing says “this marriage is going to last forever” like your first week married spent dirty, sore, cold, in a camper, going on roads that tested our vehicles capacity and peeing outside.
